2013-2014 NBA Analysis Thread

So far today we have had the Nuggets pummel the raps

Right now the Clips are playing the pacers and its a pretty good game so far.Clippers are slowly getting better defensively which bodes well for them

We have OKC-MIN(i'm going OKC in this one) later as well as POR-LAL(which portland should win handily)

If the pacers lose this game it tells me all I need to know about them that they can beat .500 plus teams and benefitting from a bum ass eastern conference lol

So far bulls exposed them

this is the kind of game where they need a matt barnes.

JJ Reddick is out for 6-8 weeks

That call on collison was some straight up blatant bullshit

Totally affected the outcome of the game

Watching the Heat game. I really doubt the the Pistons are going to hold this lead. Miami has that switch now. Hop and skip through 3 and bust ass in the 4th.

yo it looks bad when you have to go on a 10 game winning streak to hit .500

kinda shows how much of an anomaly their 3 pt shooting was last year :smh:

This early in the season too man. Lucky for them that it is so early. They still have enough time to do even around a 2 to 1 ratio of winning to losing to catch and go beyond .500.

Beasley is averaging 10pt per game off the bench. Good minutes for the Heat. Seems to be finding his role on the team. Should be interesting to see who he fits in the playoffs.

Heat some trolling ass niggas

That was a bailout shot by Jennings. Heats has these boys offensive stagnant right now. Everything they are shooting is at the end of shot clocks. If the Heat played D like this ALL game and not just the 4th, then these Pistons would even be in the game.

GREAT defensive plays by the Pistons with Smith jumping in the passing lane and the strip on the fast break on LB.

Yet certain people swear the west is the weak conference.......

the west IS the weakest.

too bad people can't figure out why the WORSTern conference has padded w/l records especially against the east.

here's a hint that casual fans gloss over despite watching games for decades: what time do eastern teams play?

Pistons played bigger than Miami tonight. Drummond pulled down 18 boards tonight. Plus they shot above average from the 3 point line.

The stay getting smashed. KG done chalked it up for the season. This is the 1st time I have ever seen him so disinterested.

KG - 19 years & 53,180 minutes. When it goes it goes.

Kobe - 17 years & 54,031 minutes. More minutes than KG in two less years. It may not end how he wants it to.

For KG, its gone. He'd been better off at Boston, but hindsight is always 20/20.

At least Kobe is still with his team. He'll be fine. Jumping from team to team can take something out of you, especially mentally (at least for old vets).

haha Masai getting rid of Rudy

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 5m

Rudy Gay is headed to the Kings, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. He has been pulled out of the Raptors lineup for tonight.

Question: I have read that the Bucks may want to trade Sanders but state his contract is toxic. You don't think that the Nets or Knicks wouldn't go after him?

hmmm who could the Knicks trade to get him though?

and the bucks just signed Sanders to a new contract too..:smh:

Stephen Jackson to Clippers

Stephen Jackson, one of the more intriguing free-agent NBA forwards on the open market, has reportedly signed a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Jackson later confirmed the deal on his Instagram account, posting a photo of himself with the caption:

One thing about me I never panic bkuz God taught me how to enjoy the bad and good times. It's easy to b positive when u are thankful and humble. God is Great. Let's turn up LA. Promise to give my all. #clips
