2013-2014 NBA Analysis Thread

he could do that every night if he really wanted to. it just comes down to shot selection.

when he was dialed in during that stretch last season he would be every selective and take all shots he had a good chance of making.

when he stopped doing that he would go back to his 5 or 6 "fuck it" shots that he takes because he has the permanent green light

The bulls are currently squeezing the life out of Indiana right now.

One thing I will say is that Indy goes as far as Paul George goes.

His shooting numbers have cooled off somewhat but he is the type of 2 way player that you want. And he is the type of small forward most teams want because small forwards act a bit like swiss army knives.

You need them to score, guard 1-2 positions and be playmakers

We will see if Indy will pick up in the second half. Dont see them getting back from a 25 pt hole on a Thibs defense unless somebody gets really hot

bills should be

Nets puzzle me. I leave mystified at the way they lost some of those games they have.

everything is new.

new players learning how to play with each other and their roles, how to mesh the old with the new as well as minutes

and a brand new coach who hasn't done any coaching before never mind managing crucial minutes and getting players to gel.

he was playing this time last year, and i know they called him a coach on the floor but i suspect it takes a little time

blake griffin is doing an excellent job of showing on D, but a horrible job of recovering back to his own man.

Man, if Shaun would have never got hurt. He would have been alright. I'm glad that he is back. Look healthy. Confident. This is a good night for him to shine. That shit hurt my feelings when he got hurt playing for the Clips. That squad looked well.

oh and dwight scored 25 pts on 4-6 shooting

:smh::smh:

i'm looking for coach kidd to set up something for him that isn't those 2 boring ISO's they ran for him already

do you see any real sets out there at all on that side?

a couple times dudley's man had him sealed out of the lane and they passed through and out to the perimeter instead of right under the basket for easy buckets..

What I don't see much of in the league with duo bigs been is screening for for the other to get open. A screen from block to block allows the the PF/C center to get into better position and allow enough times for someone to feed them the ball. This would work well for the Clips.

he's doing what he's supposed to do which is get in that lane and use his height over paul. i like that

might not be worth it. clippers are getting a lot of transition opportunities. half court is crisp with chris paul controlling, but overall a bit aimless. meaning no focused attack.

see what i mean.

clippers run a weave, end up with blake griffin dribble penetration from the top.

:smh:
