sheit i know i was nervous for dude. the fact that he didn't seem 2 want 2 look machida in the face during fight instructions and the fact that he wasn't fighting his fight in the 1st round like he usually does....dominating fighters.....seems like he was a lil uncomfortable or just straight out nervous.

2nd round he seemed to calm himself and just went to work

just for the record, jones won the first round too.
jones was the aggressor and machida wasn't doing nothing but running.

I don't really care for no Evans vs Jones. We already know what's going to happen. I want Jones Vs. Silva or JOnes Vs. JDS. No more shit. I am sick of peeps making it seem that Silva cannot be touched or Jones cannot be touched. Lets put these two together.

Machida was training with Silva, JDS, and others and look at where it's gotten him. JOnes is only 24 and he's beaten great fighters, elite fighters and he has so much more in him to learn.

He has to stay at LHW..once he gets in there with the big boys that reach won't mean shit..he won't be able to toss them around like he does now..and his striking will connect, but he doesn't have one or two strike KO power at LHW so he definitely won't at HW. Silva on the other Hand definitely has enough reach to get to tall LHWs..has done it before and he has KO power up there.

He has finished three of last four fights by chokeout (Rampage, Bader, Machida) he was just looking for an opening to get control on the ground or against the cage. He really wasn't trying to outstrike Machida, dude is too elusive for that. Just waited for an opening to clinch, gain control and then either drop elbows and look for a submission. His submission game is highly underrated because he doesn't practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Yea I think Silva would destroy him Judging how Michida was able to get in a few good punches.

This going to be wierd because I dont see noone in the 205 division beating him. What they gonna do with all the other fighters. Its not like 170 with a bunch of guys who could have been champs if GSP was not around, But its going to be a bunch of former champs who will never be champ again fighting each other over and over:lol:

muhfukkas got knocked the fukk out, broken ribs, nog got is arm broken and Machida went to sleep by choke, with a big ass gash on the forehead

Looks like never..either one is hurt or the other one and then they get fights with other people..now Jones will fight Phil Davis next on Fox...then Jones will be set to face him..one of them will get a sprained thumb or jock itch and it will be called off again. I wish Evans could have gotten in there with Jones in the shape he fought Tito in then it could be settled once and for all. I think it's only interesting because they used to train together and Evans didn't seem too worried, but the shit has been put off so long Jones is a completely different fighter since then.
