That's the only problem with the UFC..they have deep divisions, but they are only deep in the contest to see who will get embarrassed by the champ..it's like every division is one or two guys then a bunch of also-rans. It's really a case of a bunch of tough-athletes that can take a punch and most of them should go get real jobsYea I think Silva would destroy him Judging how Michida was able to get in a few good punches.
This going to be wierd because I dont see noone in the 205 division beating him. What they gonna do with all the other fighters. Its not like 170 with a bunch of guys who could have been champs if GSP was not around, But its going to be a bunch of former champs who will never be champ again fighting each other over and over

all I'm saying its a sport...whats with the race shit when they are fighters from all different races & nationalities in every MMA/Boxing camp????
they eat, sleep & train with each other....some dare I say it call themselves a family or brothers

I think that 98% of us who post on MMA nights feel this way. But when certain people are constantly hated on for no damn reason you can't help but feel extra better about the victory. Look at Silva. He still gets no respect from a lot of "fans". So when he smases Sonnen in the rematch I might do a damn backflip just because. You know you will too. I'm a fan of damn near everyone in the UFC personally, except Sonnen but I do give him respect as a fighter. Yes we can't erase ignorance but fuck it. I'm laughing my ass off at everything.

u need to rewatch that first round. jones looked real tentative. 2nd round he found his footing and went to work. he didn't embarrass machida but it was a solid win

Dude, I respect your opinion, but I think you are exaggerating just a little. Look at that fight again on the feet and you will see that Jones had to go to the muscle game to pull this one off cause Machida was making his striking look weak. In fact Machida won the first rd..the only one Jones has lost. He could only score a hit after he pounded him on the ground...and losing to Jones the way Machida did was only embarrassing because of the way he fell..Jones is a beast. But you have to know very recent history when they were saying no one would touch Machida and he got dealt with. Dissing Silva's whole career??
