what fight were you guys watching.
jones was the aggressor in the first round.
they were both feeling each other out,but jones was more active.
and landed more kicks and punches.
jon jones easily won the first round.

If anybody thinks that they simply need to watch it again.

'Jones is staying on top for a long time. Hendo has the power, but not the speed. Rashad has the speed, but not the chin/heart. Davis ain't got nothing! After these three, there's really no one else left. As for Anderson, he wont even try -- he knows he will lose. He'll remain at mw fighting bums like Michael Bisping. Anderson is no longer the best p4p fighter. Jones already has a better record in 2011 alone than Anderson has in his UFC career.

Most them clowns are fat out of shape cats who take BJJ classes twice a week and feel they are fight experts. I noticed most MMA cats are clowns that wanna be Rock Stars so they hate when they see anyone that does not fit their definition of a fighter. They could not wait to see Kimbo get his as kicked. They hated Fedor until he lost. They loved Rashad until they found out he was black. But would give they left nut for Brock. So its expected of them to hate Jones.

They hated Brock. All I kept hearing was how he needed more years to fight. Then when he won they looked stupid.....until he lost...but shit happens.

that is a difficult cut.
no way by the the time jon jones is 27-28 he's going to be able to make that cut constantly.
he will end up as a heavyweight.

Nature seldom gives you everything. If he goes up to that class, one of the big boys is going to touch him. We still don't know if he has a chin. Can't teach chin. Can't strengthen chin.

He should put off the "monster" class until later on -- if ever. You aren't slinging around 250+ athletes like you are manhandling 205. Plus there are so many more athletes in the class than there were even 10 years ago.

Plus how does he move with the extra weight? How would it affect endurance? Stay at 205. If Tito and them can do it, he can do. Cat is long, but he doesn't look to have thick bones to support that shit. Look at his lower legs.

I just watched the fight again in 1080p and in half speed ten seconds before the takedown.

He was getting ready to. He lost consciousness a split second before he was going to tap. As soon as he moved his hand to tap Jones' side, his right arm went limp.

P.S. Machida was hurt with a right hand before the takedown+elbow. If you don't know what to look for, you'd miss it. After the right hand landed, he thought he was OK. But when he circled to the left, his left side was a little jelly and did a serious of off balance missteps before Jones moved in for the kill.

Brittany Palmer will be on the cover of the March issue of Playboy.Popular UFC octagon girl Brittney Palmer, who just returned to the fold after a few months away, will appear in the March issue of Playboy, MMA Fighting has learned.

Sources close to Playboy Magazine confirmed the pictorial to Ariel Helwani.

Palmer had last been seen in the UFC at July's UFC 132, but took some time off to move to California and attend art school.

After her sabbatical, in November, UFC president Dana White announced she would be back walking around the cage soon, and she returned at Saturday night's UFC 140.

Palmer will be the third UFC octagon girl to pose in the pages of the famed magazine, following Rachelle Leah and Arianny Celeste.

Palmer is expected to also have the honor of gracing the cover of the March issue.

sheit i know i was nervous for dude. the fact that he didn't seem 2 want 2 look machida in the face during fight instructions and the fact that he wasn't fighting his fight in the 1st round like he usually does....dominating fighters.....seems like he was a lil uncomfortable or just straight out nervous.

2nd round he seemed to calm himself and just went to work

He never looks at his opponent....Rampage pointed this out before their fight. He looked Rampage in the eye, but no one before that..
