I'm going to miss eating Honey Nut Cheerios. The only cereal i can really eat now is All Bran...:smh:



Do you ever do steel-cut oats, oatmeal, or porridge? They can be a good, hearty alternative. Doctor them up with any types of combinations of fruit, grains or nuts, peanut butter, cinnamon, honey, etc. Whatever flavor combos you so choose.
 
Oh yeah, I've had steel cut oats, but I'm rushing most mornings so it's just easier to pour cereal in a bowl with milk and head out the door. I have steel cut oats though, I'll be eating more of ..

Sometimes it's good to make a bit extra ... say on a Sunday ... then reheat the refrigerated leftovers the next day or two. I need to make more in the future. Got into the habit a few years back. I find stuff like peanut butter, flax seeds, cinnamon, honey, blueberries, or almond milk ... any of those types of toppings or combinations (of a few) ... help out with the blandness of it.
