he kept using his lateral movement
and his muay thai, beautiful short elbow strikes
broke down Diaz defense
this has been one of the best UFC cards

Mir be pissing me off. Once he gets hit a couple of times he be fucking up. I'm a fan, but when shit doesn't go his way, he looks horrible. I don't know if its a lack of heart or cardio. He shouldn't have this much trouble with D.C. fuck it, at least he got to the third without completely giving up. I would like to see What D.C. could do with JDS.

I'm tempted to call Cromier boring, but Mir clearly wasn't trying to back up the trash he talked. He didn't work his kicks, even though they were working. He didn't pull guard in the clench, even though he supposedly had an advantage on ground. He kept clenching, even though his back stayed glued to the fence. He wasn't working a jab even with a reach advantage. I wish Cromier looked better, but it takes two to tango.

i dont think he can make 205 and he wont fight cain so what happens if he continues to win?
wrestling may not be all that exciting sometimes but i've maintained for along time its the best base to have in MMA.
wrestlers dictate where the fight happens, they have ridiclous work ethics/gas tanks and accustomed to make weight.
the best fighter in MMA outside Silva & Aldo seem to be converted wrestlers

Ya'll might think I'm crazy but Aldo is no Elite fighter to me. Just because he throws wild punches don't mean shit. That dude Pettis may beat him. Take away his wild punches and kicks, you have nothing. Vitor Belfort was very similar to Aldos fighting style but when you put a technician in there like Randy Couture, he got demolished. Randy did not fight Vitor's fight, Randy fought a smart man's fight.
