I want Pascal to win this...but I doubt he will...B-Hop gonna take homie to school this time...

This fight is GOING to live up to the hype. I got Hopkins winning this one convincingly or possibly stopping Pascal.

That's why I can't understand people who say boxing is dead. I see very few MMA threads unless there is a PPV event. There's always some type of boxing thread going on in this bitch.

yeah man..the last few months for boxing has been really nice actually..and im looking forward to this fight man...

real talk....I won't doubt B-hop in this rematch...dude was beating Pascals ass after the 4-5 rd....those bodyshots by B-Hop were rocking Pascal's world....

he will start off strong this time....hopefully Pascal works on his conditioning and doesn't gas after a few rds like always....:hmm::smh:

If you guys believe the hype from grandfather hopkins, you believe anything.

Hops is great at hyping people into believing he's some sort of killer that's going to do major damage but the numbers don't lie. Who has he massacred lately?

You guys act like he didn't actually beat Pascal and get robbed, if you believe that, you are a VERY small minority. He had Padcal hurt and damaged with them body shots, had it been a 15 round fight, Pascal wouldn't have made it. Don't be made cause Hops be schoolin them young boys.:lol:

The problem with a lot of so called boxing fans is that they only like brawls and KOs. The hate the art of boxing. B-hop doesn't destroy these guys... he out boxes them when he shouldn't even have a chance.

He shut down Pavlik...made him look like an amatuer....

I know that nicca Pascal mad as FUCK that everybody believes a 46 year old man beat him. He can say what he wants but he's gonna come out trying to prove something. Bernard has gotten in his head at least a lil bit.

I agree about the 15 round thing but the same can be said for Hopkins' losses to Jermain Taylor. Hops is great but he turns the switch on too late when he's fighting talented guys. Even in the fight with De La Hoya he turned the switch on late only after Fisher had to light a fire under him. These are 12 round fights nowadays. Hopkins is going to lose another decision and I don't think he has it in him to finish Pascal even if he got him hurt. We'll just have to wait and see.

A draw was probably the best decision when you look at how several knowledgeable people scored the fight. For example:

"Showtime's crew, Al Bernstein and Antonio Tarver, were split on the fight. Bernstein scored it 114-112 for Hopkins while Tarver had the same score for Pascal. Showtime's press row scorers -- Bernard Fernandez, Albert Ladouceur and Herb Zurkowsky -- gave a split decision to Hopkins.
Yahoo! Sports' lead boxing writer Kevin Iole had it 114-112 for Hopkins. SI.com's Chris Mannix scored it 113-113, while Tim Smith from the N.Y. Daily News had Hopkins 114-112. The Yahoo! boxing blog scored it 114-112 for Pascal. "

Yeah but Hopkins and Pavlik fought at a catchweight. Hopkins also fought Winky Wright at a catchweight. In light of this, I don't know if Hopkins should get much credit for those wins since he obviously disadvantaged these fighters by making them fight at unnatural weights.:)

...why do I feel like this is going to end up like Hopkins vs. Trinidad?

It won't. The last people that Hopkins was able to stop were De La Hoya and Trinidad, both welterweights almost ten years ago. That should put things into perspective.

Betting Line

Jean Pascal -140
Bernard Hopkins +110

Pascal is favorite...interesting.....

Bhop will win on UD. The fight will be very similar to the first fight but without the knockdowns.

Pascal lost :smh:

but B-Hop was clearly the better fighter....Dawson Vs. Hopkins probably next ....

Pascal needs to change trainers or get some help....2nd fight look exactly the same as the first one....a strong beginning by Jean......then poor conditioned Jean getting outclassed in the middle and late rds....:smh::hmm:

he'll be back tho too many good fighters in the LHW division....

 Another fight that needed 15 rounds.

Just saw Hopkins-Pascal II last night and two things stood out: Hopkins was COMPLETELY in his head and Pascal needs to work on his technique and learn how to box. Dude should really, really do less weight training and a lot more cardio. Doing that might even drop him into the very crowded super middleweight division.

And I agree with Steward, Montreal is red hot right now.

I don't think either of those "knockdowns" should have been ruled as knockdowns. Without the slippage, Pascal wouldn't have fallen either time. The second was even more cut and dry than the first.

And without those punches he wouldn't have "slipped" Dave so.....

I agree dude needs to lay off the wieghts...dude came into the fight looking like a damn linebacker than a boxer that may go the distance again....

his boxing needs work and his footwork....again a strong beginning and fell apart towards the middle AGAIN...:smh:

one reason I fucks with Pascal is because dude is one of the fearless boxers today...dude went to England to fight undefeated Froch on his turf and if I'm not mistaken was Fight Of The Year....did not dodge Hopkins and was down for an immediate rematch after the world believed he lost....broke his arm against Diaconu and still won the fight....

great chin not scared to mix it up....he needs better boxing skills...poor mans RJJ he is...he can't be RJJ w/o RJJ speed and footwork...needs to change his trainers...lay off the weights....

he'll be back....he is an exciting fighter...he pushed B-Hop to fight...alot potential exciting fights with him....hopefully homie improves....

Man why are these dudes in boxing trying so hard to hit the weights??? Jeff Lacy made that mistake and now he is hardly in the spotlight (and this is before the incident with his brother)...Just work on your boxing skills (especially defense) and they could do well...

If he could go down in weight class to the super middleweight division, then it would be stacked...A Pascal vs. Bute fight in Canada would be monumental for the country and boxing in general. But if that fight can't happen, there are others in the horizon...even at light heavyweight (Pascal vs. Cloud, anyone?) a few matches can be made...
