Got done Watching It, Best season for someone I've ever seen! From A overall look. clutch, the teams/players he making look :smh: ,the moves/footwork. Then to win the championship and mvp of it is crazy. Is there any player season/top 10 better?

To answer the question seriously, no. I don't think I have ever seen six buzzer beaters in 1 season in that fashion. Also 3 of them as time expired and 5 of them being made while being down a point or two.

Add the shot behind the rim also. There were many plays that weren't added in that reel, like the game winner he hit in Boston.

There has been better individual season from other players, including him, but none with a collection of highlight reels as good as that for 1 seasons worth, IMO.

If there is then somebody post it.

wRe: Kobe Bryanast's 09-10 season! Best Season Ever!?

Everybodies including his own League MVP season was better! Kobe's 2005 season was his best and the only reason your talking about him now, the 81pts the 40 and 50 point games against chitlin circuit teams. None of the players in the top 10 needed bloggers or Homer media constantly selling them as a great player!:smh:

Bird in 84 was the stuff of Legend

MJ during the 91-92 season also tops Kobe last season as well.

There are others, but those both came off the top of the head.

I'm not gonna mention Big O because I don't think he won any championships during his triple-double run.

True but he has done something that comes closet to actually NEVER BEING DONE AGAIN! That in itself is enough to be argued as the greatest individual performance throughout a whole season.

It's hard to say if that's the closest. The triple double is such an accepted standard of greatness, but I'm sure there are other metrics that can be used to show someone else had a season where they accomplished some feat that has yet to be repeated.

In the years that Nash got the MVP why should have Kobe won it over him?

Because he dragged a worthless team to the playoffs in the West, when the western conference was clearly more talented. The only other player on that squad that would or could start on any other team in the league was Lamar.

If you don't believe me, I'll re-post the players on that roster for you. :smh::smh:

The motherfucker Steve Nash was the MFR, Most Fraudulent Recipient.

Nash still won 60 games after losing 3 starters from the previous year's squad, and made bum ass Boris Diaw famous.

But he still had more overall talent.

Kobe made Smush Parker into a viable starting point guard, and Chris Mihm a starting center. :smh::smh:

Don't even mention Kwame, Slava Medvedenko, Brian Cook and Deavean George. :smh::smh::smh:

47 games with Cook as the starting PF and Luke Walton as the 6th man.

Nash had slightly more talent because he still had the Matrix, but the rest of the roster was a collection of nobodies that he made into stars. Diaw and Barbosa haven't been shit since they left Phoenix. If this season's Lakers lost 3/5 of their starting lineup, would they win even 55 games, let alone 60?

LOL@ this thread... Best season ever? He wasn't even the best player of last season.. Wade and Lebron had better seasons. It's VERY arguable that he wasn't MVP of the Finals..in his biggest game...they lost..and in his worst game they won......

Wasn't his best season either. 06-07 was his best season. 09-10 was the best complete team he's had... Man his season last year isn't a top 20 season... I can't even believe this shit was suggested.

I mean shit just off hand.. Jordan 88...91-93.... .... Barkley 93...Malone 98.. .Iverson 2000... LOL..........

The Matrix and Diaw are still playing in the league and starting. Raja Bell is still in the league. Amare is having a better year this year without Nash.

Kwame is not starting, Smush is out of the league, so is Mihm. Cook is riding pine on the Clippers that just lost to the Cav's.:lol:

The only person left on the 05-06 Lakers that is playing or starting is Lamar. :smh::smh:

Eddie House is playing good minutes for the Heat, So is James Jones.

Stop it, 3/5ths of the Lakers starting lineup is out the league, or on the Clippers bench.:lol:

*Fixed

It was Shaq who had an all time season in 2000.

Okay the first season Nash won the MVP the Lakers did not even make the playoffs, worse yet they did not win as much as the Clippers. While Steve took a 29-53 team to a 62-20 record. So who would you give the MVP trophy to again?

The 04-05 Suns won 60+ games, then traded Joe Johnson for Diaw (who was considered a bust in ATL), traded their best 3-pt shooter in Q. Richardson for an OG bigman, and Amare sat out the entire season and they only won 4 games less with these drastic changes. Nash, Matrix and bunch of overglorified role players and journeymen won 60+ games. My point is that Nash won 15+ more games than Kobe in 05-06 with a roster that wasn't 15+ games better. The Suns overachieved and Nash deserves the MVP because of it.

If the 2010-11 Lakers made the same changes to their starting lineup (i.e. no Pau, Ron Ron, and Fisher), how many games would they win?

Not talking about the 10-11 Lakers. I'm talking about the 05-06 years. The Darth Kobe years, his best one with the 81 point game. Take 3-4 "Starters" off that team, and they couldn't beat UCLA let alone a NBDL team. :smh::smh:

That was the year, he deserved the MVP more than Nash. The next year too.
