I heard that term being used for Kobe over and over, to the point that when I hear someone being called a 'facilitator' today, I immediately think back to the Shaq & Kobe years. - Kobe was never the facilitator nor was he the distributor. A Phil Jackson offense never had either one of those roles. He did however call out the offensive plays. A Jackson offense automatically involves everyone, since its based on player movement and ball rotation. When you throw in a prime Shaq who gets doubled, and sometimes tripled team, lets just say Kobe didnt have to work too hard to "involve" his teammates. Its called passing it to the open player.

- Kobe has always been clutch. But to say he was bailing out the Lakers is kind of a joke. He was just taking the last shots, like he was supposed to do. Jordan didnt bail out the Bulls. He just did his job as the best offensive option of that team.
