I've given up on the captains besides Kenpachi. Shensui and the sick guy have been a major disappointment to me that their back story doesn't matter much.
I stopped watching the anime because of those damn fillers.
The recent one about the swords coming to life was one of the better stories <lol> in bleach, anime or manga.
You can throw Gin, the Lavar burton looking motherfuker & vizards in with the list of disappointments.
The author puts so little into his story it's just poses, hidden super duper moves and asking for opponents name before using super moves.
the past couple eps remind me of archie comics, and im getting tired of the whole lets tease the reader bullshit. How convenient for the ichigo to not give a fuck or even ask his father about his past, he is just all nonchalant about it, ya sure very convenient for the writers to milk this shit
Man that is so flipping true, continually having the readers on a string, bring closure to a story and continue, no need to be milling along readers, and what's the story on his moms ???

So Ichigo cant die is that it? If the mofo is immortal whats the point in having a character that cant die. They should have wrote that fight better without ichigo dieing

the chic is one of his bosses from ichigo's many jobs and i think the bully guy was the same one that was beating up chad that one time

I dont think it is moving slow, Ichigo lost his powers so he is trying to coop and have a regular life, you can tell he feels like part of him is missing but he isn't the type of guy to go around sobbing about it. Im guessing the dude who looks like the same character from gantz will have some shocker next week and ichigo will be like wtf how do u know about me

That could also explain why Isshin could not prevent his wife's death. Lost his powers just before the Fisher hollow attacked.
sure? they've given us no reason to believe that. Seems they trying to turn Urahara into the evil mastermind behind everything, this could all be a distraction to let the reader think that, but i going with it because Aizen was taken down way too easily with Urahara present and urahara been tied to pretty much everything thats been happening, and it would also explain why he is the only shinigami who can do a cero.

So who else would know about Ichigo's family besides a relative? The dude even resembles Isshin a little bit. It's pretty clear he has a beef with Urahara, but that doesn't mean he's a bad guy. Kubo introduced the Vizards the same way with Shinji trying to talk to Ichigo and they turned out alright, just on the fringe.
well when he says family he is talking about Isshin, and it could be they are from a noble family line which wouldn't be secret if u knew who he was. Im sure people who aren't related to kuchiki Byuakua can tell u about his family too.

I think ichigo is related to the noble family. aren't there 4 of them but the 4th just sorta vanished? and he looks like that soul reaper from that family right? i think his dad isn't a descendent but in fact it's his mother who is from the nobles and that guy talking to ichigo is either his cousin or uncle. i expect ichigo to be tens times more powerful at the end of this storyline. like dude with glasses said his spiritual energy seems to be returning

to me they never addressed his mother's soul... she died and went to the soul society or did she? if she's a noble they took her soul with them. i remember reading how one of the noble families simply vanished and kaien was a member....i think his mom will be reintroduced as well...
if she was from soul society and she died she is nothing but spirit particles now just like all the other shinigamis that have died, though they did kinda fuck up that story when that arrancar that rukia foght said he would absorb the souls of the dead and use their abilities
