If you are not trying to go the rooted phone route you can just download Launcher Pro and go to menue>preferences appearance settings> check off hide notification bar. This will hide the notification bar and you can just put whatever wideget you want there without the notification bar being in the way.

Ex. Notice how on my screen the notification bar is missing

Not really worth it. I set it up and its fine like that. But when you turn it landscape its a cluster fuck. I took that shit off right after I saw that.

Nah, Stock droid can get all of that. Just need to add some apps.

Go Register here "T" & read on themes. The Droid is way far ahead of the evo & other's on theme tip, one thing though. You can use it all just about on a evo...

1x2 is for widgets "T" You got bettercut or desktop visualizer? The icons I posted will be the right size no matter what. You have to use one of those two programs to make the shortcut & apply the icon.

i think its only available on the evo, maybe availale if you are rooted and find the right them.
