Now this will make me switch to android, I like that alot... I like the look of it, looks a bit more grown up that the typical android screen.

[UptempoDro]

how can a non-rooted user snapshot their homescreen? I have a Vibrant if that makes any difference.

[UptempoDro]

nothing special about my stock 2.2 G2 screens...

ISWYDT

If you are running stock on any device I agree though. All I have is the beautiful wallpapers weather & clock and some widgets.

What kind of icons are those???

Windows 7-like theme icons.

Are these rooted?

Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

Nope

Been trying to do this for a while now and could not find the icons and program to do it with. Where did you get these?

Xda developers....I have a shitload of windows 7ish theme icons..I will upload once I figure it out how to upload all of the at once

What phone is this on and is this a rom or a launcher app? Shit is hot

Samsung Epic, Launcher Pro

for droid phones, you have to be rooted to be able to take screenshots correct? theres no app that can do it for unrooted phones?

http://samsung-phones-apps.com/how-to-take-screenshots-on-samsung-epic-4g.html

crazy how is this done

This is what windows phone 7 main screen should look like

Get the icons from xda developers and use desktop visualizer to put them on your screen

Edit.... I figured it out here is the link to the icons http://www.zshare.net/download/81000269c8297aaa/

All it is...

- Matted Blues Smooth Theme (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768848)
- Beautiful Widget Small Clock (with a modern theme)
- OSX Wallpaper with Blue mod (I think I found it on the Flikie wallpaper app)
- Vanilla Lock (from the Fresh ROM tweak)

I like the white look too but i heard it runs your battery down more. I don't know maybe not enough to matter, just something I heard.

Having the same problem...

Edit: You have to "add widget" from your home screen and choose Desktop Visualizer and the size you want

Clock/Weather widget courtesy of Beautiful widgets. I'm currently using the NakedGaremlin clock theme & just made the background for it transparent. For the wallpaper, I downloaded an app called Backgrounds & chose the NYC skyline wallpaper. Simple yet effective
