I don't know if you're just attention-whoring or what, but 40 pounds in 40 days is too drastic. Someone has a post on the Fitness board talking about how he lost 40 pounds in 62 days using a PSMF.
 
Damn bruh! I was about to come in say and crack jokes but good shit. I'm doing what I need to myself.

I was 240ish in May. I'm down to 222. Hopefully I can reach 215 by my birthday (September 15th)

Cutting eating habits and running intervals on the track have helped me the most. Oh and I drink about a gallon of water a day.

i will do meal replacements.. 3 protein shakes a day and a nutrisytem dinner.. i will also be taking.. amino acids, glutamine, fish oil, L-lysin, vitamin c and multivitamin..

Try some appetite supressants, they really work. Do that and walk 2 miles a day and you can lose 15lbs in a month. Go to one of these weight loss clinics.

The key is to limit you caloric intake to 1400 a day and eat proteins and drink a lot of water

its healthy, dont trip

and eat nothing but meat and veggies for 3 weeks...as much as you want

their is your protein and all your vitamins...no need to drink those fucking shakes or starve

then the following week, eat meat and veggies and some carbs on the weekends

youll lose 20 pounds guaranteed....a healthy 20 pounds at that

and if you work out, youll be even better

youll get the 40 pounds off in no time

then you can thank me later but thats not needed

after a month, you can go back to eating as you please since youve trained your metabolism to burn fats

you have to keep the workouts going though

If you're taking all that, I'd say replace the L-Lysin, Vitamin C, amino acids and glutamine with CLA and you'll be good. But you won't see the effects if you don't exercise.
 
It's possible. High protein, low carbs plus cardio and light lifting. For me, it was all about cutting calories. I was eating between 1500-1800 calories a day and then upped it to 2200 a day. If you are consistent, disciplined, motivated and believe you can do it, it is possible. But it also seems like you're looking for a quick fix and not really making it a lifestyle change.... that's what it really is. You have to be willing to change your life to lose weight and keep it off.

Is this some type of african starvation diet? That's exactly what you're doing to your body. You'll cause your body to go into "survival mode". Your metabolism will slow down & it'll become increasingly difficult to lose weight. As your metabolism slows down, you'll feel tired & sluggish as your body lowers its energy output.

It would make more sense to set your goal for 6mos. To help make your weight loss more effective, lose 2lbs/wk.

yes some veggies do have carbs in them but they dont have the sugar content and they have way more vitamins and minerals

Was gonna say that Citric Acid doesn't burn fat but, I just read an article that says it has a thermogenic effect on the body & helps burn fat. It also helps break down fats, carbohydrates & protein into carbon dioxide & water. Never heard that before. :dunno:

Damn you were over 3? Seriously good look and try some cardio. If you are not into running then get some family members or friends together and play some sports

40 pounds in 40 days may not be drastic considering what your body fat percentage is. The only person that can make this comment is a nutritionist, as it depends on the situation.
