:lol::lol: Fuck him. I wanna see him makes some marvelous saves in England. Fuckin waste. :smh:

Lippi has manned up. He says that it was his responsibility for not preparing the squad well.

Well, maybe if you took some better players, you would have been able to win a game

How you go for World Champs to not being able to beat NZ in four years????

Lippi sucks. My boy (who's Italian) hates him. They went to a 4-3-3 and still couldn't do shit. Camoranesi was arguably your best player so far this World Cup when on the pitch and he doesn't even get in the game. And when it comes to 10 mins left you want to start playing with urgency. Fuck that.

I know Italy is conservative but damn I thought they'd come out on all cylinders today.

And I enjoy braggin to my boy when they do shitty but I wasn't even worth it today. Lucky for them France set the standard for failure this tournament.:smh:

Buffon did not even get a game...........he must be totally pissed off. No one could have predicted Italia being so poor

E una cosa incredibile. I giocatori sono cosi male. It was unbelieveable that they players were so poor

im pretty sure has an injury. he was subbed at the half in the first match.

Best freekick of the tournament.

Full credit to the Japanese for their performance thus far. Few expected them to be less than an hour from advancing out of the group. For me, the real question is where was this sort of determination and fight from the African sides?:smh: The Japanese have produced two amazing goals and should advance with players few would consider world class (nakamura maybe 4 years ago?). The only African side through got there in spite of not scoring outside of penalties...:smh: I was really looking forward to this world cup as being a coming out party for the African sides but thus far its been the Asian and South American sides who have really made waves.

Sometimes you wonder if the pressures to perform at home does you in. Maybe this might be so for all the African teams.

Thank you for making excuses for us but we simply brought bad teams. I believe that Ivory Coast is our best team, and the played well against Brazil, and should have beaten Portugal. Their schedule was brutal, being pitted against no1 and no3; how No1 an no 3 could be in the same group defies logic...South Africa nearly over achieved. The were badly outplayed by Mexico in the first half, but had it not been for bad finishing, they would have won that game. Nigeria and Cameroon played village football. Algeria was unlucky.. Ghana to me was an unknown quantity...

4 of the 5 teams which did not make it, all fired their coaches, and in the case of Nigeria, Cameroon and Ivory coast, within the last 4 months. South Africa fired that coach who took them to the Semi finals of the Confederation cup, where they gave Brazil fits...Why I do not know.

Ghana has had the same coach since 2008 and they are the only ones who qualified. Keep in mind that Nigeria, Cameroon and Ivory Coast are all full of pros..Their coaches met their reams for the one month of training before the world cup.... That was such a shot time to for coaches to implement any thing new. The criminals were the people who made coaching changes on the eve of a big tournament.

Given our pitiful performance, do we deserve to lose one place in the world cup to Asia or South America?
