African teams = no finish

Basically. And what's with all these fucking brothas shooting from 40 yds out???

Do that in a friendly or when you are killing a team 5-0

Not in the bloody world cup, you selfish stupid fuckers. Holding your hand up to a team mate that you should have passed to does not excuse you either

Please Ghana..... please practice on striking... I'm begging you. And stop these bootleg Roberto Carlos shots.

USA v Ghana. Fitness v fitness.

I hope the U.S. dont use revenge on the Ghanaians as the key driving force. Just go out and take care of business.

Ghana's middle is nice, but they can't finish to save their lives. Gyan will give Bornstein or Bocanegra a headache, but if he's contained, it can get interesting.

A lot of those dudes are looking past their team and trying to get the fortune and fame. They know if they score a goal in the World Cup, they gain fame in their countries and a good chance to get signed to a major football league. If they looked at the big picture and stopped playing so damn selfish, they have the potential to make it to the group of 8 or even the finals.

Plus, those dudes can't finish for shit.

I know, everyone of these players want to be a hero... our build up play is amazing. If Essien wasn't injured, we'd be raping teams left right and centre.

And I agree.

Exactly what I said above. They all want to be heroes. It's a team effort. Not even Ronaldo or Messi can carry their respective teams by themselves.

He was awful. And to think I was championing him. He does not even look fit

:smh:

Ghana can definetly beat the USA and then will take on the winner of Uruguay/South Korea. Ghana's chances of going to the semis are looking good.

Were we watching the same team b/c the Ghana I saw wasn't finishing chances (as mentioned numerous times here). Not scoring a non-PK goal is not gonna help them no matter who they play.

the coach of ghana needs work on his changes how you going to change gyan with amoah

What is he saying? That Ghana will be a pushover?

He is saying that the US is the underdog because all of Africa will be behind Ghana. He also is suggesting that the US will make amends for their loss to Ghana in '06. Basically, he is trying to take pressure off of the US and trying to set up the US for a famous underdog victory even though they are ranked 20 spots (approximately) higher than Ghana. Im going to try and get a Ghana kit in time for Saturday so I can be an ass at my local bar. I cant stand condescending white people especially when it comes to something they literally know nothing about...:smh:

Don't pay that any mind. It will be a tight game and I don't see the US as an underdog. Can't wait to see the game though!!!

How is making yourself the underdog condescending? If anything, that shows mad respect for your opponent. And i'm certain the U.S. players feel the same way. They're gonna respect Ghana when they step on that pitch Saturday night.

I think the US will make some noise..especially since they got a somewhat easier route..Ghana is good but let's be real...African teams have not hit the side of a barn..plus the US just beat an African team. It's going to be good...nothing wrong with your post btw..I just piggybacked off you

Feel me tho? I haven't heard Alexi Lalas say anything out of the norm. He's a man that's proud his country just advanced to the quarters of the World Cup. That's it. No different from any other country on the planet that's in the quarters. I didn't hear anything berating Ghana or African football. Not by a long shot.

And this...

Nzinga bait! You've been warned! :nailbiting:
