From what my wife translates to me from l'equipe :lol:, the past few days the language has been somewhat racially charged in terms of placing the blame on the players (evra in particular). They have likened him to a "gang leader" et al. There were problems going into the world cup because many felt that some of the "french" (white) players were either being overplayed/underplayed (ribery is treated as if hes not a white frenchman maybe because hes a muslim convert i dont know). Gourcuff was the focus of this controversy. For me, this is all bullshit because we have missed out on opportunity to get the best out of evra, ribery and malouda (who are at their highest levels now) and have missed out on getting final performances from Gallas, abidal, cisse, henry and a few others who will probably not be in the setup in 4 years time. Fuck the FFF and Domenech for this bullshit...there is no way that uruguay or mexico are more talented than France...
