France captain Patrice Evra has already blamed the noise generated by the vuvuzelas for his team's poor showing in its opening 0-0 draw with Uruguay.
"We can't sleep at night because of the vuvuzelas," Evra said. "People start playing them from 6 a.m. We can't hear one another out on the pitch because of them."
Jordaan said organizers are doing all they can.
"We've tried to get some order," Jordaan said. "We have asked for no vuvuzelas during national anthems or stadium announcements. It's difficult, but we're trying to manage the best we can.

What is this tennis now? Ok the sleep thing, that sucks but I have no pity if it messes them up on the pitch.
I have no problems w/ them though I'm not there in person. But I seen a few ppl here complain about it. I don't even pay attention to them when I'm watching the matches.

I've been saying this since the Confed cup, the Vuvuzela's are damn annyoing. I know its part of the SA culture cool, so only bring them out when SA are playing and not in every damn match.

god I hate australians, we bout to in on them when the rugby starts too
I feel im watching a MLS game unless i hear the Vuvuzela ..... i enjoy it during the game its like the soundtrack to a movie![]()

The Vuvuzelas aren't really bothering me at all, but you don't need them for great atmosphere in futbol.

I cant lie, those vuvuzelas have my head aching after the 90 mins. I can only imagine what its going to be like a week from now...I think it would make more sense if they were used when South Africa play only and not just blown wildly during every match...

your brain will tune em out eventually :
I hardly notice vuvuzelas but maybe in the stadium, it would annoy me
I don't mind the noise.. I just wish it would be more African. You go to Europe, America and South America, especially Brazil, you hear them playing our drums during football games; you to South Africa, in their confusion, they have invented some quixotic practise that is non-African... what is up with this shit?
the fuck

fucking australians serves them right, I remember when they were trying to weasle their way into getting the world cup thinking we werent gonna be ready
the fuck
Sorry, you and your culture are not "African" enough for Nzinga.![]()
Well done my black stars... but I wonder... dare I say it, if Ghana were to get to the finals... and possibly win, would the focuse be on the white coach and would it detract from their 'possible' victory?
Is there something I have missed in South African tradition where they have played plastic horns?
That red is harsh, a yellow but no red
I think Cahill's reputation forced the decision...f him and his racist brother

And I take your sexy ghanian and raise her with tha South African beauty in my sig.Nice. I take your sexy nigerian and raise you a ghanian.
