Offical Magic Vs Bobcats Playoff Thread

they miss okafur

Dunno bout that. :dunno:
They did not NEED Okafur to get this particular win. :smh:

In a 1 or 2 possession game... with over 3 minutes left... and NO shot blocker in the middle....

- THEY DID NOT PENETRATE. AT ALL.
- EXCEPT FOR THE SMALLEST MAN ON THEIR SQUAD.
- The dudes who SHOULD BE driving to the rim... kept pulling-up for deep jumpers... and missed.
- Instead of trying to DUNK on Gortat... or get a foul, or an easy lay-up...
- ON THEIR HOME COURT.

NONE of them dudes ever took 1 good shot... 'in the paint'... in the last 3 minutes.
Not 1 post-up. Not 1 alley-oop. Not 1 lay-up. In crunchtime.

Just looong jumpers.
They didn't even try.

That's why they lost.

Only dude who took a lay-up (or even tried ) was the point guard.
Those other guys can't beat 1 guy off-the-dribble and get to the bucket?
Or pull-up within 8-10 feet, inside the foul line?

That's pathetic.

It was written all over MJ's face in the last 30 seconds of the game.

Just saying.

Man this shit is over. Felton & Diaw were HORRIBLE this series. I just wish we could get 1 win before this thing ends. I'll be cheering Monday night but dont expect much. :(

O-TOWN's got it in the bag. :itsawrap:  Remember the good ole days.

As long as Howard keeps becoming a "Mark" for fouls, teams that can drive to the rim will have the proper blue print on how to beat them.

What funny is even with howard in foul trouble for most of this series the magic keep winning..........EXPLAIN THAT!!! Magic are a lot deeper than you give them credit for........KEEP SLEEPIN:lol::lol::dance:

Game 4. 7:30 left in the 4th...

So...
will Stephen Jackson take 1 lay-up?
Will Boris Diaw attempt 1 shot in the paint?
Will Wallace demand the ball down the stretch?

Stay tuned.

Good Win for the Magic.

Jameer Nelson went nuts this game.
18+ pts. Shot 7/9 from the field.

Notice...
ALL LAY-UPS or 'FLOATERS' in the PAINT.

Thats not Gerald's game. He's a better open court scorer than in the half court.

You are absolutely correct.
And that's WHY he's 'gone fishing' so early. After 4 straight games.

Unfortunately for him, the NBA playoffs become MORE of a half-court game (especially in the Eastern Conference vs. the Western Conference) when compared to the 'regular season' style of play.

good shit but tha Cats were no match for Orlando... Magic is tha only team I predicted would sweep these playoffs.. y'all next series, if it's Hawks.. Magic in 6 games.. Bucks.. sweep, since there's no Bogut

Right MJ looked mad as hell

I just think it was a bad matchup for the bobcats

I think if they played the Cavs they would have won a few games.......they dominated the Cavs all year much better matchup for them.

Playoffs all about the Matchup bad matchup for the bobcats!!

Even though it was charlotte ORLANDO STILL DID WHAT THEY WAS SUPPOSE TO DO THAT CANT BE SAID FOR OTHER TEAMS IN THE PLAYOFFS..............LIKE THE CAVS OR HAWKS RIGHT NOW

Thats not Gerald's game. He's a better open court scorer than in the half court.

He's become a more versatile player now and can score in the half court game. The Bobcats needed three guys to be consistent scorers to win any games and they never had more than two. Even in the last game, Tyrus Thomas came alive and Stephen Jackson fell off.

Will Larry stay?

He's here until he leaves. All this speculation is almost reckless. When they talk about all the moving around the guy has done, let's not forget that he was fired from several of these jobs including his Detroit and NY jobs.

Brown gave them a great game plan but the execution was horrible.

This had nothing to do with Okafor. If he was viable to Coach Brown's plans, he would still be there.

mike needs to sit up in a box....if I were on the bobjohnsoncats I wouldn't want to see that ninja grimacing in the 2nd row all game.

Hell no, let him sit right there. The players like him there for his input and Brown likes him there. Plus Mike needs to sell tickets and he can do that by being a more public face of the franchise.

No thats what you heard, what was said is that there are only two teams with the personal to really match up well against the Magic, one is the Lakers who beat them last year and the 2nd is the Cavs.
While the Bobcats exposed the obvious weakness on the Magic team, they lacked the personal to execute in taking advantage.
To make things simple for you, let me dumb it down so that you can understand.
Imagine a boxer with an undefeated record who has one weakness, that is he cant stop the left hook. His record dosn't mean jacks squat if the people he beat was all righties with a weak left hand especially if his next opponent is a south paw with just as good skill, with a devastating left hand hook.
