yea I would. Thats actually the biggest thign that disappoints me with the G1.. the cam quality. I use my Flip pretty often but it would be nice to have everything in one, smaller device.
cosign. I do alot of traveling to the west coast and I really dont like having to carry a camcorder around. Having that HDMI would be really helpful

This is the best theme I have used so far.. Im pushing it on Cyan 14.1 even though the log says 13.*. Its basically Experion. The font and color scheme is PERFECT.

First sorry for my English is not so bad but not perfect yet, I´m Spanish and i have been reading all of you for a long time now, so i want to contribute a little with my first theme for Android Phones: Bluest Day. At first I must say that many things of it are taken and modified from too much diferent themes like enoch, darkstar, experion ...so all the credit goes to their creators and their fantastic themes, Nevertheless other of course are created by my own like the music app, boot screen and an huge amount of png along all the theme. Cracked PdaNet 2.16 (Latest) [WiP] [Now with 64-bit flavor]
Hey guys, thought this might be useful for someone.
I'm in a sort of rehab since a few weeks and the only way i can get online is tethering from my Milestone/Droid to my Notebook using PdaNet.
Unfortunately the free trial does limit traffic to http only (no https, ftp, vpn, .. - wtf?) - and it seems there's no crack available.
I had a look and hacked the activation (quick'n'dirty baby) to be able to use PdaNet without trial limitations.
You have to fake register PdaNet everytime you start the PC App - but hey, it only takes 2 seconds and is better than nothing, right? ;D
I'll do a full crack soon (so consider this a preview-release), but until then this does the trick for me.
I know most of yall been looking for this...small step and a crack is coming soon

EVERYTHING I try to use force closes (including settings and phone applications)
It says its in airplane mode but there is no icon (it only shows when the phone is idle) and then when I try to turn it off it wont let me....
I'm out of town right now and don't feel like dealing with sprint...is there something I can do to fix the phone myself?

Are you rooted? Did you install any recent apps that may have caused this.Do you know if your running 1.5 or 1.6
I was having the same issue over the weekend. I was messing with my phone ALL day Saturday trying to fix it. Sunday morning I just reinstalled the radio and ROM.. basically I redid the whole rooting process. Thats if you are rooted, idk what to tell you if you arent.

make sure you ALWAYS have a uninstaller on your phone. uninstall all of the last apps you installed. 1 of them is fucking up your phone. after you uninstall them turn off your phone. when you turn it back on you should be good

Do they have a slingbox app for the G1? Was talking to an Iphone cat and he says they dont, figured I would ask those in the know.

My previous phone was the MyTouch 3G. It was my favorite phone ever up until I bought the Nexus One. I'm an Android Fanatic!!!
There is nothing slow about the Nexus One. It has a Gig processor in it. It has 512 RAM and 512 ROM. This bitch is faster than my first computer and faster than half the Muhfukkas computers on BGOL. We are not able to save apps to SD card yet. There will be an OTA update to address that issue in the future.
If you are thinking about getting one, you will not regret it. TRUST!!! Now that the Nexus has full Multi Touch, this is most definitely the best phone I have ever had, easily!!!!
I think there is one other person that checks out this thread that has a Nexus One and I'm sure he will Co-Sign with everything I just mentioned.

I guess the 1 somebody posted for the DMV area is the most accurate and informative but Google Maps also has a lil transit thing. I don't know how accurate or informative it is far as times and things because i've never had to use it, but i remember once at work I clicked on transit and let me know what time the next bus was coming and it even had the right bus number that comes in that area. I thought that was pretty dope.

I've had to install 3 different versions, usually when a new version comes out it'll ask u to go to market and upgrade, even if u click cancel it wont let u run mybackup pro. What a slap in the face to tmobile. 1 thing you hope for with a high end phone is to bring in new customers and customers from other carriers by having an exclusive phone, well Google slapped tmobile in the face by announcing on day 1 it would be coming to verizon in the Spring. So that's it, i'm not waiting to see if this Roi is coming to tmo in March, I haven't been able to find much talk of it online, infact 1 site said it will only be available through Google like the Nexus One, so my search is on, no more games, i'm trying to cop that Nexus One. I'll pay $400 for it, so I go on Craigslist and there's like 5 different ass holes who are selling it for $500 and $550, fkn freaks, that's basically they same price I can get it for from Google, I have politely sent all 5 assholes a message telling them I have $400 right now for the phone. For everybody with the Nexus how is it not having a physical keyboard? The phone runs smooth other than those reported 3g problems which is no prob, for me since i'm mostly on edge anyway.

You'll be able to find one on Craigslist for $400. The dude I bought mine from bought his for $179 and thought he was coming up by selling it for $400.
As for your physical keyboard question, I'm one that prefers not to have a physical keyboard. So I really can't give a you an unbiased answer. I love this damn phone. You will not regret buying this phone, and the best $400 you'll spend in a while.

So since u bought yours off clist, did u simply put your old sim card in and boom or do u have to have a different sim? u still have the same plan u had with your mytouch or did u have to upgrade to that Nexus One plan?
I have the same plan I had with the MT3G. I just popped out the sim and inserted it into the Nexus and POOF!!!
I was off and running!!! I did call TMO to see if there was a Nexus Plan and they just switched my internet plan over to the "Android Plan". There was no difference in price and no difference in what the plan does.

My phone is not rooted and I'm able to load downloaded apps. It's unlocked!!! Plus it has full Multi Touch!!!
