I was putting this same situation down to my lady last night.

Saying how I've never been smacked, her response was, " Because your crazy ". At first I didn't catch it, then I asked what she meant and she explained basically she would never attempt to do such to me because I might come after her like and I quote, " A spider monkey ". :hmm:

A friend of mine, she also confirmed similar feelings concerning taking that chance on, " Slapping " me.

Personal lesson for me:

I don't fuck with women who want to " Slap " me.

I don't speak bullshit outbursts meant to hurt people.

My thoughts:

I suppose if your the type who feels it's ok to hit a woman after she hits you . . . maybe that's why she felt she could hit you. :cool:

You dumbfuck, the vast majority of attacks ON WOMEN aren't reported either, for fear that the abuser will only get angrier and KILL his partner the next time out. Check the hospital wards and the morgues. They're not packed with abused men.

I repeat, you're like the white guy who wants to equate some incidents of discrimination against whites with centuries of hostility and violent discrimination against blacks. I know it's hard to give up that feeling of power and control over women. Just ask whites about giving up their supremacy.

I AGAIN don't hit women and would never put myself in a position to. A woman hit me ONE time out of anger and I promptly got my shit and rolled out. Never talked to her again and hate her fucking guts to this day for putting me in that situation.

But you sir can not sit here and tell me that women don't hit men. That women don't try to hurt men. That women are powerless against men. That is bullshit. And that is my point.

You are right...everybody has an opinion. My opinion is simple. Women should not put there hands on men and men shouldn't put there hands on women. Period.

There is no it's ok in either situation. Why in the hell is everybody discounting the "damage" of a hit from a woman. A hit is a hit and the right hit from a woman can be equally as damaging if not more damaging than that from a man.

Keep your damn hands to yourself ladies and stop believing that this shit is ok because you are "weaker". :smh:
 
To put this into perspective the laws in this country are setup to protect women. (justifiably so) Meaning regardless of who is at fault the man will be taken away 9 times out of ten, if the police are called. The risk simply aren't worth it.

IMO it is wrong to hit a woman I've never done it. Never had the need but I have had justifiable reason to. But no woman is worth my freedom. If a woman turns violent with me I have no need to keep her in my life.

So with me physical attacks are not going to work. Neither will the sulking, not speaking, or trying to destroy my/our personal property. If there's a problem then we will sit down and workout a solution to the problem.

It came from the DISCUSSION of that issue where various women have stated that it is wrong to hit woman. BIG DIFFERENCE.
 
Wow, this topic derailed just a lil. I think it was because I was unclear, I apologize.

The question wasn't, whether or not it was OK to hit women. The answer to that is undeniably a resounding NO. The more complete answer, is that it isn't ok for anyone, male or female to hit each other. I am against abuse in any form, physical, sexual or verbal. This is something that we as a people, need to abolish.

My question should have been stated this way: "why do some women feel that they can hit a man, but he can't hit back?" This refers to a small subset of women, not even women in general. There are women who understand that this can happen, and will not do anything to provoke a fight ( but will defend themselves in a sec).

The whole "men are stronger than women" argument, would leave me to believe that these women shouldn't attempt to provoke a man ( physically ).

The "restrain her" argument may seem valid to an inexperienced fighter. And, it may seem valid to someone who doesn't understand how women fight. Men usually take a logical approach to fighting, block, untill their emotions get involved then they throw everything into. Women fight like that most of the time. It doesn't work all the time.

Plus, a woman will blame a man for any pain incurred during these types of altercations. My mother ( love her to death) swung at me one day. I saw it coming out the corner of my eye, and lifted up my hand to protect myself. She hit my elbow, and blamed me because it hurt. She then proceeded to three-piece me, one to the dome, and two to the gut.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Still, no one answered the question. People voiced their opinions, and villified others because of their opinions. No one to my knowledge CONDONED hitting women, they only said that they would do it if they felt that the situation required it.

So again I ask: why do some women feel that they can hit men, but they shouldn't / can't get hit back?

I was taught this by someone older when I was younger to only defend yourself when a woman tries to do bodily harm to you & you are trying to leave the situation. And I've been in a couple of situations like that & just bounced before it could escalate even worst. Even had a friend that I was fucking with that thought that just b/c I'm a nice guy that it also meant I was a sucka & that she could wile out on me. I grabbed her & gave her the, "I can really fuck you up if I want to, but won't because I like my freedom too much & I hate stale ass bologna sandwiches look". Then after giving her the Chris Rock shake I left. Suffice it to say she treated me with much more respect after wards.

Sounds like fallacious logic to me, or at the very least, a poorly thought out sequence of reasoning.
Because, if a dude really does the math (logic) he'll see that the ultimate solution to the equation, after plugging in all the real variables and constants is almost always = the demise of the male.

Now i'm no Carl Friedrich Gauss, but it's pretty much cakewalk to solve for x when y = jail.

As for the argument of logical reasoning determining the terms of engagement in a fight when there's a physical size difference, people typically have that luxury when there's sufficient time and relatively calm nerves at their disposal. Let's not forget about emotion, courtesy of adrenalin.
