Thank you. Why would anyone buy back a gun with the serial number scratched off. There is no way he could have proved the gun was previously sold. Ballistics could have been run and tied it to a murder. Losing his gun was the least that could have happened.

Give us a valid reason why you would scratch off the serial number. The BGOL CSI can't fathom why you would sell a gun to a licensed dealer with a scratched off serial. Even red merchant would have come here first
