It's unfortunate but the truth of the matter remains, Black women are loosing too many brothas to other women. Black women in general are angry--angry at life, angry at Black men, and ultimately angry at themselves.
The thing is it's hard for me to relate to any of this because it's american Black women who are like this(if they are like this). So once again, your post and his videos should say "american Black women" not "Black women". West Indian and African women are not like this for the most part.

^^See^^, it May not all be 'hate' but just observations and reactions to that energy since everyone reacts differentlyfollowup said:You're being mean. (And why do your posts always talk so bad about American black folks?) I love your strength, but sometimes your posts rub me a little weirdly.
Shooting that mouth off to express that current emotion without thinking about the ramifications does that @ times but everybody does @ times - who will be the first NOT toB-Witty said:on 2 nd thought.. ; Now is that a proper way to open up some dialogue on this 'issue'?)peace
Not you, right?
Not attack you @ all, but arent you also the self proclaimed hermit with the belligerent, combative attitude who may be still actively healing from events from her past hurts or indiscretions (or is that just while in Amerikkka?)
No matta how much u suppress that, do u think that's a redeemable quality to most, male or female?
Or should they get over that because your a potentially fantastic person? Take yourself Out of yourself for a 2nd and read what and how you type what you type to understand a few of those type reactions
Just by observation and not taking any sides nor attacking you, but it seems many of your back and forth interactions between men and women on both boards(not the ignorant fools but ones with some sense) to you have seem to lost patience with that and address it their own way in attempt to point out to You that it is Your issue(s)
{Minus all the over the top ish, Maybe You and HustleHardah have more in common than you think, seriously & am just saying...}
Just a thought......

for the most part, these are the people who admittedly didnt take the time to watch the vid...
thanks for getting to the heart of the matter, watching the vid and sharing your feelings.
i woke up bored so i said fuck it i'm gonna watch it......
everything he said was true.
Never knew a simple obsevation nor a question could be considered a judgement
Judge not lest thou be judged. Theres ALOTI could say but I will leave it for a different time. Go ahead and keep thinking you better than other people. Perhaps you need to do some self examination as well.
Just a thought.....

STRAIGHT WISDOM, GIVE THANKS!!!!!
Observant, introspective with patience, which Ive learned is my type of Woman!
If everyone were as enlightened as yourself, we wouldnt even be having this problem/discussion/dead horse issue
peace
thanks don...did u watch part 4 that i posted i think on page 2 of this thread?
More pointing of the fingers.
Save your time ppl these videos is a waste of time.
Nothing interesting and sensible was discussed.
Black men need to stop find excuses.
I aint watching the videos but I like the topic. I don't care who black men date/screw/marry. Just don't be talking grimy about black women because I promise you there are women in every color that act the same way. If you deal with ignorant black women, then that's on you--not ALL black women
(no Colin Powell please)Help me out.
What do ignorant women look like?
Or,
Do I have to talk to her first (and risk getting shot in the face) to determine
this?
(no Colin Powell please)
There is no look to them. Trust me, an ignorant woman can have a PhD. But it depends on you. I'll give you an example. I have girlfriends from all different walks of life. Raised in the hood, raised in the burbs, single moms, virgins, and straight hookers. My friend who is a single mom espouses a lot of the stereotypes that some men on here complain about (single mom without a steady job & letting her children's father stay in her Section 8 home). But none of that bugs me because that's her life and she likes it. The problem I have is that she fucks on the side with a dude down the street and she sees nothing wrong with that. That is an ignorant woman to me, but I love her & she's kind hearted. Any dude that is messing with her is bringing the problems onto himself. But it's not an issue for men who don't deal with women like that.
Another friend of mine (sweet, super smart & hardworking) used to go to clubs and party with us. Nothing off the hook and we really didn't get into dirt, but we used to have a good time. Now she's all into the church and says clubs are sinful, etc. We used to fuss over it, but now I don't care that much. She's an ignorant woman to me because even Jesus drank wine and partied in the bible. A man could be looking at her like "Oh she's so pure, she'd make a good wife". But if he gets with her and hates her lifestyle, then that's on him. He can't come back and then hate on all black women who are "into the church" because he chose to get involved with her.
peace
Never knew a simple obsevation nor a question could be considered a judgement
A judgement is "I dont know why I waste my time on even speaking to Amerikkans about ......."
Or someone commenting to your post and being called the epotome of stereotypes (his comments maybe made harshly but with a point in reactionj to your opinion where u said "Man, home women are friendly and smile alot and joke and have fun 99% of the time."
This may be true but when here, are you 'happy and smiling all the time or @ times angry with something? )
Or making a judgemnt call on how the Youtube kat is a certain 'ghetto type' without actually watching all of the videoses nor totally grasping his context @ first
(You even admitted to taking 'baby steps', showing you did not watch it @ that current time, so is why the OP told you to hold judgement until you finished watching the videoes)
Which is why Follouwup's response is quoted within my post
You've make judgements and people react to them
Yet, I still don't see in any of my comments how I acted as if better than anyone, but me pointing this out must be yet another 'judgement' Im making against you; Is a temp banning a judgement also? No one is out to get you, just asking about things that you stated; Maybe you missed what I was saying, Oh Well

No Colin from me. Im a reader, so be as verbose as required..
Can you address to the second part of my statement?
(The statement you quoted was menat to be sarcastic. I know
crazy looks just like sane)
How is a man to know that a woman is "ignorant" without talking to her?
(and risk getting shot inthe face (hypothetically)
This coming from someone who likes to call the rest of the world "bitchmade" and thinks he is the only one who isn't
again I hold my tongue because if I even start I will say ALOT
after watching as much as I can stomach of that guy, my original vibe on him stands 1000% true and I didn't need to suffer through that much to know what I already knew which is why I stopped watching the original video in the first place.
this country fucking sucks. thats why everyone here men and women included are stressed out, angry, hostile and unfriendly. doesn't take a video nor a genius to figure that out.
I don't think I understand that part. You have to talk with her and go out/stay in with her. Or am I missing something?
Do you mean, why when men are meant with anger & frustration when they post certain topics? Because I have an answer to that
When people say things like "oh it's just the Americans, come get an African/Jamaican/Barbadian (is that right? sorry if it isn't), it's like you're just leaving your American sisters out in the cold to exisit all by themselves for the rest of their lives. This is reaching, but if that's the case, eventually all the Black American women are gonna be single and alone, and we're going to start hearing the same type of arguments put forth directed exclusively toward Carribean or African women. Then we're all gonna be SOL!I assumed the vid had been watched by all.
I made an ass of myself...
Let me ask. Did you watch? If you did, I will explain....
* sigh *
I'm so over this topic. If a Black man doesn't want me, fine. I'll wait and find a good one that does. This board has shown that there are plenty of Black men who love Black women.

but I believe that is what Jody is referring to.This is exactly what we are talking about.
BAsically what you are saying is the shit that we are complaining about is
part of being a black woman...
I love black women. I hate attitude.
Can the two be separated?

Nope. My post you quoted said that I wasn't going to watch it. Then I decided to watch the first part, but I couldn't get through it.
I think I get what you're saying though (without having to watch the vid & going by the statement your wife made). There are some men who are so hooked on telling black women what's wrong with them without offering solutions or finding out why black women behave and do some of the things they do. They don't really want to hear what a woman has to say about it herself. It's not a conversation, it's simply accusations. If somebody is pointing fingers at you & making accusations, would you really want to sit there and here it?
How, from across the room, while admiring your gorgeous body, your glowing skin
your beautifull lips, and working out my opening line, do i determine if you will flip out and come out on of the box on me for speaking?
To some, its not worth the risk (hypothetically of course)
I did not see the attitude in her post at all
She said if one man doesn't want her she doesn't care cause theres another one who will and there are plenty of black men who love black women.
Please point out the "attitude"
To me she is very positive as opposed to "there are no good men out there" which many many females feel is the case.
Its a vibe thing my friend.
When I see a gorgeous man, how do I determine if he is a rapist, a gangsta, a murderer, or a cool guy to talk to?
I was illustrating the point. Its no different on either side of the fence. A vibe thing. Body language, general demeanor, facial expression, smile(if they don't smile I don't even want to speak to them at all), just how they carry themselves. This tells you an enormous amount about a person, male or female.Do I need to post a photo guide?
I can give you some GREAT guidelines!
Sounds like you said the reason we get cussed out and threatened to get shot in the face is because we talk to "ignorant women"...
We have all these bad experiences because we talk to the "wrong women". COrrect?

To my sisters, both in the US and abroad-
Is it possible to discuss the issues laid out?
Or
"SHUT UP NIGGA DONT NOBODY WANNA HEAR THAT SHIT"
(If they aren't interested in repairing the sturcture, why should I be?)
Seem like we get caught up in tif the black man has the right to take an issue with the black womans behavior, and never even scratch the surface of the issues.
Classic smoke screen.

Darling you got me wrong.
I have stated my stand on this issue many times on BGOL & SOL. I do not want to deal with ANY black man who gives reasons why he does not date black women. I do not care what that reason is. Any black man who discounts all black women based on his few relatinships is not a man I will waste my time trying to have a discussion with. I'm the same offline too. Especially a man in his 30s & 40s. I have had plenty of negative experiences with black men, but NEVER has the thought of being with a man who wasn't black crossed my mind. Most black women I know are always down for a discussion with black men about our relationships, but when the attacks start nobody wants to deal with that. Search through SOL; there are plenty of mature threads with good healthy discussions about the problems between black men & women.
So back to my first post. If a man finds himself saying he's been with so many women who all fit a certain stereotype, how is he then going to blame the women? It's his fault for dealing with those type of women. As soon as he sees the behaviors he doesn't like he should bounce and try to avoid it in the future.
In the first part of the videos the guy told a story about a guy conversing with a woman on the train and it appeared to be going nicely and when the woman got up to get off the train she told the guy "I wish I had a 380 so I could shoot you in your face" which actually made mebut I believe that is what Jody is referring to.
