I bought 1000 shares of coin at 12.88, today it closed at 15.89. so far i made 3019.

i hope it keeps going up:D

Glad to see someone took the gamble w/ me on COIN as well...

stock is crazy mover...i'm looking for higher,,O/S being so small makes it have KILLER potential...its up near 300% near term & yet...it is moving higher 16.34 now

Hot damn! PAL is onsale. I picked up some under 8. How low does it have to go before you stop thinking buying oportunity and start thinking oh shit. I am confident in the metals run and am trying to get my hands on atleast 1000 shares of PAL(under double digits) & SWC. Also Bertha Coombs on CNBC just mentioned the power shortage in S.A. Its the first I've heard them mention it.

I don't know what's going on with it. It's at 7.77 right now. I got in at 8.25 and i don't know if I should buy more. I'll just wait to analyze what's causing this steep decline.

PAL & SWC got laced today due to 2 reasons,,,
1.PGM pullback
2.South Africa saying they will attempt 95% capacity.

PAL made a drastic turn a couple days ago, wfter hitting 9.29, its been giving back gains & has shed quite a bit...

Ok so there was some sell off as expected. Could be looked at as buying opp. But if S.A. can deliver http://www.poweralert.co.za/poweralert3/...
does that spell blood shed? Or will the jacked up economy and the week ass dollar and catalytic converters be enough to keep us going higher....If she goes below 6bucks I will take what profit I've made on Etrade and shuffle it over if theres any left:confused:

Peace

im ust about to get 100 shares on PAL since its under 8.00 i want some coinz but the shiit is going higher instead of coming back so ill hold off until it does. Are there short or long term concerns with PAL based on South Africa's news

North Offwork...

I'm not sure if either of you have either visited a country that had to cycle power, conserving it to utlize it. These problems do not get fixed at a flip of a switch. I suspect, that come winter in SA, they will again fall back to a lower output rate. None the less, the supply has already been disrupted, on production that was ALREADY in supply shortage. The greenback is dead, we have just not decided to schedule a funeral, in hopes the dead springs to life, Oil. Commodities are the places where prices are on the move, i read a recent artice about pizza shops & wheat prices where, a year ago $10 would get you a 50lb bag, now you're paying $36. Wheat has had supply & yeield issues that cause that spike upwards...to FIX these issues is not easy, In the case of the PMGs, the metal is at all time consumption rates, the Chinese have found an attraction to palladium jewelry. The converters have to be placed on all cars built. So we're looking at strong demand, the Russians have not delivered any stockpile on palladium. Way i see it...palladium (which more effects PAL) will be volatile, yes BUT it must begin to narrow the gap if you will with platinum as the two are readily substitutble...Jewelry demand of platinum I suspect will take a hit, as I doubt frivilous spending will be in abundance. I am in commodity stocks & metals due to the fact that the dollar has to erode for the greater good, leading the US down the path of the AMERO & a more global economy. The US & its companies are DONE growing AMErica...it's time for them to grow the world, you look at most Multi-national Co's & realize the US is no longer their main bread & butter..its overseas inemerging markets. I think PAL, in the long haul will do very well, but we all have to realize that pullbacks are part of any market, and downturns do occur..when PAL is selling palladium for 500,600,700 oz, times will look aweful bright...Also w/ palladium, its the one metal that has yet to run, it moved about 100%, 200 to 400 in about 4+ years, while other metals returned heavier..I think, we ALL get caught up in the NOW, "show me the money now", but, sometimes you have to take some lumps..

As for COIN,COINZ,COINW...it's one of those "what the heck is going on stock" & I have no clue what is going on, but obviously some seem to be driving it up every day..I picked up some COINW, and in a short period they have run so fast...not sure what to think, seems like they are setting up for going higher too...there's always those stock that you look back and say damn howd it do that..TASR, TZOO, those were monster returns.. We'll see..hang tight tho...remember only a loss when you sell, same way it went down, it can go up...

damn long post...

This Pal is killing me, but im in it for the long haul. But please let me know if its not gonna make the comeback. Got in for 8.30, so im not panicking just watching closely.

But that TGB is a steady gainer 5.61 and steadily climbing.

Pretty much every stock is spiraling down due to employment #s...
PMGs have pulled back drasticly...not pleasant..

good looking

Boy this week was brutal, but that's the name of the game. You have to look at the BIG picture. Like my man Popo said, you only lose when you SELL, so hang on in there. Nothing is worse than selling out at a BAD price and then watching the stock recover later.

I got a little greedy on PAL after a nice in and out...thought I could parlay some more really quick...bought 5000 @ $8.77, down about 5-6 Gs right now, but I'm not worried nor selling. Maybe should have shorted on the pullback, but too late for that.

Anyway, Let's Get It!!!!

Thanks Trip, I thought I was the only one waiting it out. I don't need the money now, thankfully, so I'll just wait. I used the opportunity to pick up several bargains too like Aitran Airways etc.

Man I feel the boards' pain, this week was just aweful, no sector had any legs, no stock really looked good (i'm even discounting COIN, which i just can't seem to understand). I remeber a month or so back, when i went into POT, picked up a good amount around 148, near the then 52 week high, only to watch as over the next few days the stock pulled all the way back to 105. These big fund managers are doing what they need to do to make their dollars. pulling stock back hard & then jus as fast taking them back up. The market is very unstable in that regard, even great revenue producing companies get trounced. I've been hit 2x with PAL, having also had a holding in the Warrant, so I'm right now not that happy bout it, but understand these things occur. A bit more trouble some is the drastic pullbacks that the PMGs have had..there is some positive outlook when you stretch the data out though, just look at the relative 5yr charts...PMGs while volatile have done well & with the declining dollar & the go "green" concept, Pd & Pt are essential metals..I'm long on PAL, though carrying a paper loss, like most of you..guess we're all in the same ship..

COIN is a strange stock, & more you see it, more if looks like there are forces looking to push it to insane heights...I thought it would get murdered to day, say a 30-40% pullback,,but only 12% occured...next week will be interesting, hope less blood flows from hy holdings...:puke::smh:

As you said these fund managers are manipulating the market.

Whenever there is a fed meeting coming up, they will tank the market so that he could drop interest rates.

That's just my take on it because there is no way to explain how solid stocks take hits also.

The name of the game for me is sell on 5% drop or 10% rise.

I'll take what I could get.........

I'm long on POT though.

:D

Why are you not posting?
Did you give up because you lost a few hundred dollars?

This the time to buy stocks.

:yes::yes::yes:

Not sure who you're referring to as not posting, but i think with the feds likely to move again soon w/ rates what you'se seeing now is just the setup for it. Drop stocks to then take them back up after a rate drop. Big money can do big things & the funds play both sides & are ofcourse in cahoots..so you can't beat their game,,,PAL also have earnings & a confernce call coming up...

I'm confident in the metals, no way Platinum & Palladium will become bargains..Gold approaching 1000 & silver pushing 20+..
I'm also going to have to take a closer look at some silver plays..seems like the silver price has been heavily stabilized by the Silver EFT holding so much physical silver..

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend as mich as I am. Since the market is closed so the thread is a lil slow I thought I would drop a jewel. This is one of my favorite websites(blog) I like to checkout about the powermoves being made in the hip hop community. And I dont mean who has the biggest rims or chains! Nice read on days like today. Peace.

Im watching. Volume moving very slow. PAL moves like a penny per minute. Do I want to get in before earnings:confused::confused:
Its early let me watch.

These drops are insane,,,
AGs are being pummeled..think all stocks are looking for new floors..major dropoffs have occured. Not pleasant at all..lock in profits hold cash, until this market starts to show some signs of stabilty

Offwork,,
nothing looks good out there,,as a PAL holder in the red, I'd say if you were to think to buy--buy the warrants trading at 3.00right now,,less to buy & more to gain, they trade as PAL+ if you use Ameritrade, not sure what others have it under. There hasn't been a green day on the board in a long time,,,:smh::puke::(

Yes you are correct. Right now everything seems to be get money get out! No one will admit it but people are afraid in this economy. Lots of fake smiles and empty pockets. I will take head to what you say about holding the cash. There will be a run up and I will be ready.

Wow, I am loosing money out the wazoo by the hour

Feel you pain man,,for sure...when i see AGs getting laced up/ i Worry. Beacuse they are the one sector that is truly making good money/If the market decides to chop the multiple to future earnings in them, it'll be a major price adjustment in ALL AGs. I had to bail on MOSaic...just looked too bloody out there to be holding ANY gainers. Its strange the twists & turns in the last 2.5 months...for the longe term all the picks have done realittivy well..but those that got in say the last two weeks maybe having some buyers remorse, toward the recomendations dropped here...

I've gotten rid of COIN as well...too volatile, will see if it pulls back to where it becomes appealing for a play
