Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!!! You're judging who I am by where I come from. I can't tell you what the newest dance is, who the hot rapper is or who's in the club because I'm not at the club.

But I can discuss my favorite form of wordplay, why I prefer to read prose and not poetry, and why I think that some African American fiction is too raunchy because writing and words are my passion. We can talk about the rising cost of healthcare and my opinions on why the war is draining our economy.

While I may not be an expert in business start-up and gran canaria, I think that I have the ability to listen and converse on a basic level on any subject. I am from the ghetto, but I am not GHETTO, there is a big difference.

And, you're probably mid 30s-40, I'm 22.. Im just starting to invest in my 401K and do that research, so you're right, you would know more about that than I. But how does being from where I'm from dictate my interests and taste? To me, you sound close minded by saying just because I'm from there I can't be different.

no offense but this really sounds pompous :smh:
you have no idea what this woman's interests or likes are.
you are making alot of assumptions

i saw the pictures of your wardrobe so i think you should rewind and come again.

your right i do NOT know what all women's interests are. but i do know what my interests are, and because of that the circles i run in usually do not have black women in them. why? because either

1. black women have no interest in those things around here
2. they are incapable of doing so.

so it's not about being pompous it's fact.

now as far as some pieces in my "wardrobe" so what?

that's material goods. everybody has interests in those. clothes, rides, jewelry, etc. you think that's what keep people together? what they got?

that's a gold digger mentality. basing the like interests of two people off of what one of them has.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!!! You're judging who I am by where I come from. I can't tell you what the newest dance is, who the hot rapper is or who's in the club because I'm not at the club.

so your telling me you do not interact on a casual level with anyone from your original environment? do you still reside in that area or have you moved on? please, do not see my question as a form of belittling or anything of that nature, i'm just curious. my intent is not to offend.

But I can discuss my favorite form of wordplay, why I prefer to read prose and not poetry, and why I think that some African American fiction is too raunchy because writing and words are my passion. i will concede to that. but for the record being able to listen is not the same thing.

I am from the ghetto, but I am not GHETTO, there is a big difference.

true. and i respect that.

And, you're probably mid 30s-40,

33, get it right......

I'm 22.. Im just starting to invest in my 401K and do that research, so you're right, you would know more about that than I. But how does being from where I'm from dictate my interests and taste? To me, you sound close minded by saying just because I'm from there I can't be different.

again i speak from experience. you can only deal with the same thing so many times until you get tired of it.

as for your wardrobe, its just very hypocritical that you put yourself "5 levels" above this woman you don't even know just because she is from "the hood" yet you choose to dress in a thuggish/ghetto fabulous manner thus looking like a crack dealer from "the hood"

I would never be seen in public with a man who dresses so. People in circles I run in do not dress like that nor do they wish to be associated with those who do.

see your still on clothes...we'll get to that in a minute.
as far as my statement on "5 levels up" i'm refer to a lot of things. financially, security, lifestyle, location, and potential.
and that would be your decision and i would have to accept that. not try and persuade you otherwise. that's nothing new. you should have seen how many black women wouldn't want to deal with me because i have a rice burner in my garage.:D

the difference though is what we look for in people. i'm looking at the person. your looking at what the person has. i'll be at game in a hoody and some jeans and tennis shoes yet you wouldn't have a clue that i was the owner of a chain of stores. where as you'll see the man in the suit, the loafers and think he's about something and all he is, is the janitor of some office, just by chance on his way to church.

I do not live in that area any longer. But my family still does, and I will NEVER turn my back on where I'm from. I want to give back to my community and try to make it a better place, not sit back and watch it on a further decline. I still associate with some people from there, my closest friends are from there, but all of them have the same values I have, and some of them don't live there any more either.

Just a few weeks ago, me and my friends were out, and a lady said, "oh, I didn't know Asbury Park produced such articulate people" or something to that nature... it's very offensive.

And I'm not trying to attack you personally, but just the ideology of interracial dating. While you may have your wife for whatever reasons, I would be offended if I saw you guys out in public. That's just me. I think that the more I achieve, I will still find someone who is black that can relate to that and have similar interests. I'm not looking for a carbon copy, in fact, someone who's business minded would compliment someone like me who's more of a "free-spirit" for lack of better terms.

^^^ I know bigirl, that ish is depressing!! Went home, went to the boardwalk, and it wasn't anything like I remembered...

see there you go making assumptions again. i don't give a fuck what people have just as your chain of stores does not impress me in the slightest.

its not about the hoodie or jeans or sneakers at all. its about the kind and style of them. Tells me alot about a person.

Its more of a how one conducts oneself in public type of thing.

See how you get defensive when your own brand of "logic and reasoning" is used on you?

You are the one who seems so impressed by material things aka your chain of stores and seems to feel as though that puts you above others.

lol, now who's making assumptions?

so the style and choice of clothes i wear indicate my behavior? i must be very confused person then because i have a large variety of clothes/style. like i said earlier that was a few items i put up to show someone who asked about them.

and how is a "business" a material thing? i was using that to point out you can't judge a person from what they wear. i can show you a picture of a guy you would swear is a bum, wears dirty jeans and a dirty plaid shirt everywhere he goes when he's in cleveland. flip side, he owns dozens of junk yards from ohio to florida and 3 highline car dealerships in florida. but because of the way he dresses you would write him off...lol. truth be told he's the type of person who would cut you a check for a few grand out of the blue and tell you to startup a biz and give him 10% just like that.

so there is a distinct difference on how i judge people and how you judge people. my means go beyond the appearance of a person.

Just a few weeks ago, me and my friends were out, and a lady said, "oh, I didn't know Asbury Park produced such articulate people" or something to that nature... it's very offensive.

I was mad as hell when she said that dumb shit to me.

as far as my statement on "5 levels up" i'm refer to a lot of things. financially, security, lifestyle, location, and potential.

I don't like this statement at all. By being "5 Levels Up" it sounds like you are looking down on people from your castle in the burbs. Who are you to judge someone's potential? And besides that everything you named is material.

Dude is sounding like a bigot. Granted you probably don't care but you lost a lot of respect with this one.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Girl I can't count how many times this man boasts of his earnings and yes all he talks about his his small hometown.

Goodness!

and its sad he hasn't been exposed to anything different than wherever bumfuck ohio yet has the audacity to look down on people :smh:

I am trying to bite my tongue because I really feel disrespected but I have to remind myself that this is the internet.

But to bring this on topic this is probably why he is married to an "other"

Dude has a skewed vision of how things are and his place in life in relation to others.

but you've just said what i've been saying. you want to find someone that can relate to and have similar interests. someone who would compliment you. i looked for the same thing, i just didn't set racial boundaries. well except for white women.

I have been seeing it for months and didn't give a fuck until the point where he attempted to put someone else down for no valid reason. That right there tells me an enormous amount about whats on the inside and it ain't looking too pretty. Forget the tacky ghetto jeans.

Girl some men like to be a "big fish in a little pond" because they know they couldn't handle life among the sharks in the ocean.

But like my daddy, who came from a small town in Haiti always said, "If you can make it in NY, you can make it anywhere". I've never been locked to one city.

I've always found it strange that some people can live all their lives in one small town but foreigners come here not even knowing the language with no fear and fare much better than American born citizens.

I digressed, but that always comes to mind whenever I read dude's posts.

small hometown?

i think you seriously misunderstand. where i live physically, yes it a small city as the one before it. majority white upper class. a suburb. but the area in general is "cleveland" i guess you would have to live here to understand. you don't want to live in cleveland "the big city" like people want to live in atlanta.

and curious what do my earnings have to do negatively where i live? ask ladyscorpio about the city of chesterland.

YEAH with that comment you really have me in the wrong light?

me? the big fish in a small pond? in this city more likely one of the small-er fish. people around here are millionaires. i'm not a "millionaire".

and no, i'm not trying to uproot from here and go elsewhere for the sake of finding a woman. r u nuts? i have a good thing going on here and only a fool would walk away from it for a woman. there's too many women to have to travel the globe for one.:smh:

you are not getting it. we are not impressed that you live in a white upper class suburb. for we who have encountered and lived in NY, London, Hong Kong, Miami, etc, yes Cleaveland is a small town

we are trying to explain you something here but you just don't want to get it. Instead you miss the forest and focus on "what do my earnings have to do negatively where I live"

:smh: you seem to be a victim of the amerikkkan nightmare

and no your not getting it, your choosing to make it more complicated then what it really is.

it's this simple. i choose my partner based off likes, attraction, abilities, status, etc. not race. so if she's black she's black is she's not she's not. there's no mandate that says i have to be with a black woman. you can scream foul all you want but when it's all said and done everyone has a preference. your just balking at it because somewhere down the line you may or may not fit into that perspective. that's normal to have some reaction to it. if a woman told me she wouldnt date me because i do not have an 11 inch dick i'll think she's crazy but "oh well"

my choice.

now regarding where i live i i wasn't referring to what you were saying i was referring to what femm said regarding living in a small city......don't know how femm twisted that into whatever she did but she's not making any sense, we're talking about two different things. she's referring to not finding women because i live in a small town. not what i'm talking about. when i refer to the limited availability of "eligible" black women where i live i'm refering to several counties over 100 miles.

femm on something else....

and most of what you said you looked for in a woman was her income and knowledge of amerikkkan financial stuff. so go on and do you with your money sig.

i think you completely misunderstood femme but i am going to let her tey and explain it to you.

money is not everything my friend :smh:

BTW I couldn't care less what race your wife is. I am not talking about that at all.

i never said money was everything. if that was the case i would probably be on some "a potential mate has to make just as much". but at the same time, i'm not about to date someone working at mcdonalds. just as if you were making say 60k in a corp. environent, your not going to be in a serious relationship with someone making 5 bucks an hour cleaning the pool. now you can deny it all you want but we both know the deal.

now you can be "politically correct" with your statements all you want but when it comes down to it you know what you will and won't go for.

3
and if you get of the money bit for a moment and actually read what i wrote in the very beginning, you'll see it has far more to do then what a woman earns...

try:

no kids. hell you knock what 80% of the females off the list with that alone. single, divorced, widowed, it doesn't matter.

with that said, it's not about trying to knock a black woman it's about not wanting to look for a needle in a haystack. i have no doubts about there being women in atl, chi, new york....but this isn't "coming to america"

hey...everyone can't fit into everyone's idea of what "wife material" is.

take it as it is or go pout about it.

i'm sure there's something about me that doesn't fit into your perspective of what you want in your mate. am i going to take offense to it? no....because it doesn't matter. i just wouldn't harp on it like most people do.

Nigga, you are about to be investigated by the Feds because this is SUPERULTRAMEGA-CHURCH in this piece.

but all b/s aside....

i bet most women that read that did take offense to it. because there's something up there that has to do with them. hey i'm sorry....really. it's not about put downs, but everyone is entitled to what they want.

side note, that's not even an unrealistic list.

Girl why bother.

what's on your mind femm?

we were suppose to have this talk a long time ago.

*hands femm the mike...

we're all adults here.....

Well let me be honest.

I don't like you.

And I know that there are alot of men on the board that are total assholes but you...you, I really just don't like at all. Even more than Dr. Truth and Blunt put together. I think you go out of your way to flaunt your wares and put black women down. I dunno if your momma is still in your life or if she did a number on ya, but you seem like a hateful little man. And I say little because for some reason I visualize you as being 5'3" or something.

But more than the fact that I don't like you, I don't respect you. So much that I don't even feel sorry for you.

But this is the internet and I know it matters not to you anyway.

and hey that's your right.....i'm not here to please everyone....but dinnae worry i won't resort to their tactics when dealing/conversing with you....

now about flashing the wares...true i do..but even you can admit to this...if someone asked how they could get theirs who always gave them the answer?

me.

when anything that was a money maker and was solid came out, who set up chat rooms on various places for everyone to come into and taught folks what was up?

me.

i've employed two bgol'ers in the past 3 years.

just from what i've done 2 people did the accessory stores i use to push on y'all from this site. JD walker and his wife opened up a perfume shop off of what i said.

doesn't sound like i'm "too" hateful a person

and where do you get the bashing black women from? something i said back in 1999?

You're so oblivious.:smh:

hey if you call helping others bragging...i'll do it all day then.

I've helped tons of dudes on here.

There is no reason to toot my own horn.

Old Spanish Proverb:

“Tell me what you brag about and I'll tell you what you lack”

WTF is wrong with you you pathetic wanna be jack&jill/boule mufukka? You disgust me. Your little cell phone shoppes make you think you are better than other Black people? If you are all that in your tacky gettofab jeans then why the fuck you care if strangers on a messageboard think you are 5 foot 6 foot or whatever?

Usually when people try so hard to prove something they are full of fuck :hmm:

So answer one question: where have you been not only outside cleaveland but outside the united states? anywhere?

i've been everywhere in the u.s. worth going to, atl(yearly), DC, detroit(monthly) florida (yearly) chi, nc (4 years for school) sc, new york, etc. etc.

outside of the u.s

canada (yearly)
mexico
gran canaria
tenerife
valencia-madrid (friend played in the spain basketball leagues, brad sellers)
morocco
jamaica
bahamas
aruba

and is it me stuck on what i have or is it you? i didn't bring up anything i had until you brought it up as i recall....

you know what they say about haters too.....

but, like i said i'm not mad at ya.

i'm not even mad at bi-girl....even though she's doing her best to bait me on into arguing with her about something that's irrelevelent.....

Somehow you misread. I said I don't like you. I don't hate you. There is a reason for your existence.

once again, you told that girl you were "5 levels above her" and that was it.
your sig is really tacky too. you still bragging even in this post :smh:

that sig brings out the worst in people for some reason.

sad part is that's not a pic of my money. it's just a pic i found on the net.

as far as the 5 levels thing. hey it probably came out "crude" but, guess what? there's probably at least a a few dozen more levels above me. women preach about "i'm out of your league" to men all the time. but let me guess when a man says it to a woman it's heresy? your acting as if i said i was king of the world....far far from it. for all i know femm could be sitting on a few mil.

I'll admit it.. I get mad when i see a white man with a black woman

Especially if a white man is with a dime piece..

and there you go again. pic you found on the net but still the pic you chose to be your sig pic which reflects your obsession with money as does the fact that you just said femme could be sitting on a few mil :smh:
