I think I'm gonna die soon...

Sell everything down to your socks and move out of the country. Folks are living good lives in Vietnam, Thailand and eslewhere with much less capital and way more community. People focus too much on who and what they hate, when it’s really about peace of mind and a new lease. Go where the challenges are which food you want to try, which island you want to visit, how your money goes much further. Reset; don’t check out.

Do Lyft man. It'll put bread in your pocket til something comes through.
I do the shit 5 hours a day, and 7 hours on the weekend, and bring in about 1,200-1,300 a week.
Would be more if i didnt drive a V8 SUV.
It'll keep you above water for the time being fam.

It definitely isn't easy out here but
better days are right around the corner
It aint never been easy, but people have to move into different whole other jobs in order to go where they neeed to be!! I seen people in white collar not wanting to do blue collar work!

This company that makes Fisher nuts cant get enough people to work second shift! They have a sign out in front of the place begging for help..ijs..

I believe once people hit a certain low, it has much to do with their surroundings. The more people, the more pressure. The crazier the surroundings, the more temptation and pressure. When I listed my condo for sale, it sold to the first person that viewed it, that day. She made an offer immediately and only 6k under asking. She wanted to be in atlanta THAT badly, while I was ready to go. I went from living in a building with over 200 units to a driveway where I don’t need to speak to anyone—it’s heaven. I could’ve bought my house cash from what I made selling the condo. Life in the condo and in altanta was sooooo much work, speaking when you don’t feel like it, riding the elevator to my damn floor always always came with a conversation. I couldn’t play my tv, music or games too loud, I could hear conversations through walls, the spiral of the parking garage all resembled a chaos I convinced myself wasn’t bad-it was. Sometimes our lives are like that condo—cluttered, filled with other people’s rules and expectations, having to constantly be “on”. I moved to a state with just my sister and her kids and I am at peace. NO TRAFFIC! I don’t know anyone, and I live on a fraction of what altanta was. Removing all those things meant I needed less, wanted less, and lived more. Too many of us fall for this rat race shit, when people outside America are so much happier. I’m in a few expat groups on Instagram and those black folks all wish they’d sold everything and left sooner; which is what I will do in about 18 months when I retire.

Is this a troll post?

I dont think that it is a troll post.

It is probably not about employment either,

America has depression rates most countries can’t imagine. Life is so much simpler on less almost everywhere else in the world. People sellling everything, and getting on planes with just suitcases and paying $1000 a month or less in Counties we think have it worse. My cigar homie from Altanta retired, sold everything and is now in Quala Lumpur in a penthouse for what him and his wife’s health insurance was gonna cost. They’ve never seemed happier with less. I’m definitely leaving American in 2028! I could sell my car and live in Malaysia, Thailand and other places for 4 or more years. Just the car! I tried to spend $100 US in Vietnam and it took nearly two days. And I only did it because I stumbled upon an open market with knock off Air Force Ones for $12 US, and I bought 4 pairs. Expats don’t cook in most of these counties because a full meal can be $2-4. Before anyone thinks of offing themselves they should leave this motherfucker first.

Do you know I never found a job and I'm still depressed as fuck with life and I'm in my early 50s.
If I don't log on, it's been real.
Bruh, though I have been depressed over the past few months, I hope you're not thinking about punching your own ticket.

When I tell you been there done that got the T-shirt, been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Life can be ridiculously hard and sometimes you wonder...why am I here. You might even think like Brooks in Shawshank Redemption..."I've decided not to stay."

First off, several people have given you some ideas of ways to make money that can satisfy you at least partially, but if not that think about this before you think of punching your own ticket...what if you miss?

I met a nurse about 20 years ago when I was feeling kind of low and the changed my mind about ever punching my own ticket.

I asked her where she worked and she said, "On the suicide Ward."

I thought she was joking, but she told me she works on a ward with people who attempted suicide and failed. Every one of them she said are worse off now than they would have if they just would have gotten to the next day, and then the next day, and then the next.

One of them did a swan dive off of a 10 story building, now he's quadriplegic. One guy chewed on a shotgun, now he's quadriplegic. Three or four other guys shot themselves either in the mouth or in the head, all quadriplegic.

She named some other people who use pills or some other form that was likely supposed to take them out but didn't, now they're in constant pain or lifelong dialysis.

When I think about punching my own ticket, I don't think about the family and friends who will miss me. I don't think about the people I'll leave behind...

I think, what if I miss? Everybody I named above did shit that should have canceled their name from the census, and God and or whatever being is up there said, not so fast my friend.

You can do shit that SHOULD remove your name off the census, but if whoever up there says you ain't going, you ain't going.

This life can be tough, but nothing but AIDS and herpes lasts forever. Trust me, you don't want a life harder than what you're currently facing. It'll get better.

Dude, someone just posted in the last week that Anthropic will pay you $85k for a 12mo program to learn how to use Claude. I get depressed too, but periodically asking, implicitly or explicitly, for sympathy from random internet niggas ain't the move.

This is true in a sense, I looked at it like dude is letting his extended family know if he ain’t around anymore, this what happened..

Hell if he want to try this outside construction work, I’m see what happening out here…

Starting out, not know nothing could pay anywhere from $18-$27

Bruh, come on now, dawg. Come on now. Cut that shit out. Buckle up and let fucking go. You are a black man and economic pressure is just that, a little pressure. I know you got some type of skill. Put that shit to work. If you got a skill somebody is in need of it. IF you got a car, you can drive Uber and Lyft. Never give up, always look toward the future and promise, never doubt who GOD made you to be. If you got black skin, you should know you are built for this shit. Whatever the skin you got, you are built for this shit. Take it from me, fuck a job. Start a business, if you don't have money, got to the SBA and depend on what business it is, they will help you get started. Never give up.

Man, listen. I didn’t see the part of Vietnam the expats took over, but in the main cities I visited, they took my AMEX. I’ll be brief, after looooooong ass flights, I landed the next afternoon so I was beat. I slept, went down to the lobby and asked for food. I go to where they tell me, and I saw beers I’d never heard of so I went in. I kind did the math but didn’t, either way, I ate and drank at least 7 beers, two I didn’t like so I left em half full. End of the night I tell the guy to ring me up, he has a tap machine, so I go fuck it, and tap my Amex, that shit converted to less than $30 WITH FOOD!!!!! Next day, I take a bus for much less than $1 to this side of town that’s crazy packed and busy, like NYC, I went to this market with food vendors and told myself if I die, I die. Started trying food and drinking beers… a plate and a few beers was maybe $7. I started give them their money and they leaving the change. I got a bucket of beer, food, a massage in the beach for about $60 US, that’s the beach chair rental, bucket of beer, a deep fried fish platter and the massage! You could live in Vietnam WELL for $1000 a month. Phillipines is similar. Thailand slightly higher. If you get $2000 a month in retirement GTFO out of America!!!! You can live in exotic shit on 20k a year. Nobody should be depressed if they can leave. Some of these countries ask for maybe 10-20k in a secure bank account and they’ll give you temporary citizenship. Most of these YouTubers are there now.

Fuck this place. It’s America that is so depressing. Fuck a broad, this country ain’t shit.

Yep, I watched videos on people who moved to Thailand or Vietnam and not cacs, actual black folks. When you don't have to worry about money all the time it brings a certain piece of mind.

Brother continue to post so we know you are still here. I will try to dig up some old jokes. Brother @jack walsh could you please post some of your finest bedtime material?
Anything I can do to help this brothas spirits. Were rooting for you Totto. You still have a chance to figure life out. Keep going.

Nothing wrong with working at Walmart or a warehouse gig. You might meet some cool people there and even get some pussy.

Or other opportunities

There’s people that worked at some place and maybe a customer, another worker, etc like the way he move or his character and might have a job opening or opportunity somewhere else and would like him to fill that slot where he can make more money, get more benefits, and show off his skillset… sometime you have to be outside in order to be recognized for greater things.. one of the best things lots of people who stay indoors don’t understand.. opportunity awaits you outside your door and that goes with lots of things, social life, sex life, money, opportunities, connections, networking, energy, etc

If i knew my wife was getting half of all my shit in a divorce, she would be history, and I would be in Thailand.

Bruv's says he's gonna die soon and you're gonna have him spending what little time left he has selling all his stuff?

Man's gonna keel over making his last sale, and for what? :roflmao:

Keep your head up, Totto. We all go through bouts of depression. It always gets better tho.

Log in and give us a thumbs up bruh!

If I don't log on, it's been real.

Get a Masters in cybersecurity or anything high tech from wherever. You can do it in a year. That's pretty much it. That's your entry to a job.
