This is unpopular opinion but in my opinion Wendell's wrong.
If it were about business, then the most popular movies box office wise would've been the movies chosen.
It appears to be race related. But maybe Peter Debruge and Owen Gleiberman who wrote the article and chose their best movies of 2025 didn't feel Sinners was one of them.
But they're probably just racist haters who didn't want to give Sinners its credit.
Oh and Wendell should've just said it was race related not business related was my only point.
