Never cared for any of KRS-ONE's music, and lost a lot of respect for him for disrupting the show and throwing P.M.Dawn off the stage at the Sound Factory in 1993.

Lauryn Hill and Tupac are overrated....
Lauyrn lost alot of credibility to me when she didn't continue her rap career. I get her first gift is as a singer and she's a great singer BUT the thing that got her over and boosted her was her MC skills and presence. And even as her singing career faltered due to the controversy surrounding the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, she could have continued as a rapper and held it down for the non pussy rapping female MCs.
Honestly she was last of a dying breed as all the strippers turned rappers started to rise. And Lauryn failed to represent and it was a missed opportunity for her continue her presence on the big stage and MAYBE reignite her singing career because she is that versatile.
But she didn't do anything but have a bunch of kids and get caught up in baby daddy drama and neglected her rap career...which makes me question did she write those raps or was that stuff ghost written and the whole MC thing just a pose??
At this point I seriously question her MC status.

I don't understand,how folks put her as the greatest female MC after having one album. People discredit Biggie for having two albums but change the rules for her. That album wasn't all that good in the first place.
There should be a two album rule for any discussion of ranking an MC.I understand,quality vs quantity argument but can an artist have at least two albums before talking about them in any type of ranking.
Ill take Lyte,Roxanne Shante and Latifah over her.
