You will not find better clippers and/or trimmers than these. I have used Andis, Wahl, and other brands that pro barbers use and NOTHING comes close to these. They are phenomenal. Pricey, yes. But one use and you'll be sold.
Plus if you get them from amazon and don't like them (highly unlikely) you can just return them.

Guides for the trimmer make beard work easy-peasy

glad I started shaving my head at 21I’ve never posted in this thread, even though I’ve seen it and glanced at it. However, I had to revisit it because I was searching for a barbershop in San Francisco to trim my beard with clippers, not a razor. These motherfuckers are charging $40-$50 just to trim your beard and $100 for a cut. Man fuck that!

I was only looking to get my beard trimmed. There are about five or six barbershops within a 15 to 30-minute drive from the airport, and their prices are quite similar. Man, this shit is fucking ridiculous.glad I started shaving my head at 21![]()

Yeah Dom barbers are less expensive, but as you said the cuts aren't as good. I now found a brotha that charges same as the Dom and the cuts are way better. My old barber--who was the best barber I've ever had in Ohio, required an appointment through an app: to get the best date and times you had to schedule immediately when the month reset. He charged $90 for a 45 minute shave and cut...and expected a tip. I got tired of it.
I switched to a Dominican shop that allows walk-ins. I'm usually in a chair within 5 minutes. They only charge $35 for a shave and cut. The quality of the cuts I get from them is far inferior to my old barber, but they're not bad. The convenience and price makes it worth it.
Exactly. Charging dealership prices for oil changes to get a haircut. They’ll put themselves out of business one by one. A base cut should be $30 with tip. If you want some elaborate shit; that’s $50+. $100 is nasty work, no matter what it is.My old barber--who was the best barber I've ever had in Ohio, required an appointment through an app. He had a very high client base. To get the best dates and times you had to schedule immediately on the day the month reset--preferably at 9:00 a.m. when the app opened. He charged $90 for a 45 minute shave and cut...and expected a tip. I got tired of it.

I only wanted a edge up with clippers, not a razor for my beard. It shouldn’t take more than five minutes, and I’m not willing to pay $50 for that. I don’t need a fucking hot towel and a sip of cognac.Exactly. Charging dealership prices for oil changes to get a haircut. They’ll put themselves out of business one by one.
