It's not fair to her if she ordered only $30 worth of food , and everyone else ordered $150+ worth of food and then expecting her to pay the split bill equally.

Just last week I was at a cafe working and one of my boys came through and sat next to me to catch up. Mind you, I haven't been at this cafe for almost 4-5 months despite it being down the street from my place and neither has he. We both know the staff quite well. He sat there and chatted while I was trying to focus on work, and then about 20 minutes in, dude starts complaining about how hungry he is. I pay him no mind. He keeps yapping about needing to eat. I respond, then get some food. He says I ain't got no money. I avoid him. He keeps mentioning that shit! He then mentions a leather bag he gave me despite me never asking for it.

Instead of asking me like a man to cover his cost for the food. He whines like a bitch and makes faces about needing to eat and how broke he is. I finally give in and get this bumb nigga some food. I feel so fucking used. I'm seriously thinking about cutting him off, as this wasn't his first time doing this to me.

Bruh look at it like this....for the price of a small meal you got rid of a leeching, energy sucking crab in a bucket ass nigga.

The issue is people don't communicate this earlier and be buying shit in groups they wouldn't buy had they been alone which is the issue and it's always our own people be trying to get over on each other to pay for extra shit.

I use to call it panhandling drinks and would let a few random chicks have it when I denied them and they would say something like you broke.. I was like the broke person is the 1 panhandling not the one that denies.. Imagine waking up, taking a shower, putting on a nice outfit , getting for free and than begging people for drinks.. You thought this was a good idea and this was gonna be the highlight of your night, I said if my lil sis grew up and this was gonna be her lifestyle I would feel like I failed her as an older mentor.. I'm forever been a class clown.. I can be nice and humble, even very chill, but when it comes to certain things the no zero fucks can come out.. Im use to being spoiled by the opposite sex and is turned off by females that come at me differently.. I don't think I've ever paid for a man's food for his birthday. At least not as part of a group party. At most, I may have gotten him a drink

I haven't had the birthday thing happen with women either, but I was put in a situation that I was tried for a free meal. Two old classmates were at a bar and one of them call me to join. Im technically only really cool with one of them and the other is more so a friend of a friend. Keep in mind they were already ordering before I arrived. I may have had a drink or got food too. We are about to leave and the bar tender gives to separate bills. The girl im closer with ask the bar tender why he did that and he explains the obvious. As im standing there it hits me that I was being used and it back fired because of the bar tender. Not that i would have paid for both anyway. Again, im really only tight with one of the women, so i would have expected the woman i bearly knew to pay for her shit anyway.

Ironically, i wouldn't have had an issue with doing it ( for both) if she was upfront about it. This was also the other mistake on my part. On solo outings with this woman ,i picked up the tab more times than I should have not thinking anything of it because i knew her since 1st grade. I setup the expectation and I later indirectly corrected it by simply asking to be treated for my birthday. She did it, but I could tell she didn't really want to and may not have thought i was serious. slowly but surely we didn't hang out as much. Clearly, she found others to get free meals from and I confirmed what I had suspected but honestly didn't want to believe. To be fair, she started out decent as far as covering her own tabs or other things for me, at somepoint though it got mostly one sided.

But if there were 6 people there, evenly split everyone would pay close to $200. That's not fair to the person (You) that ordered $20 worth of food.

And in any of these situations. If people just paid for what they ordered then there's no problem.

In certain circles, whoever has or thinks they have the most money pays. This is the entertainers, celebrities, sports stars, etc. My wallet stays in my pocket.

This summer I was in the Hamptons, stayed at a house with Michael Bloomberg and Steve Ross owner of the Miami Dolphins as neighbors…not a lot to chip in. This same guy sold me a place out of the country. Went to the country club and was introduced to someone that owns an airline.

It depends on the circumstances. Sometimes I’m well off in comparison and other times my funds are invisible in comparison. And I pay accordingly.

The wealth disparity is amazing. I heard of someone that has a yacht that’s so massive it has 9 chefs. 3 personal and 6 for staff.

I had a similar issue about 12 years ago with a party of 13. I ordered around $30 worth of food, and when the bill arrived, it was $1200. The lady friend who invited me to join the group guilt-tripped me into splitting the cost.

Before I go to any function like that I always tell the host I'll pay for my meal and wifey's meal. Next thing you know you're paying for 3 other peoples meals or shit you didn't even eat.
