I think bus driving is the best bet, don't see crackers hiring me for no office gig that pays over $40k a year

I wondered what the follow up to this was….

@totto you got an update?
I got into the City of Miami as a bus driver, training starts in January.

I just do random jobs for right now, I got my CDL Learners Permit also and Dot Physical.

I'm trying to get free training by WIOA for Class A but the state changed the program, they only give funds to employees who were laid off recently.

I probably have to pay out of pocket or get a scholarship.

I still apply for IT jobs, I had a couple assignments but pretty basic and temporary for this IT staffing company.

Maintaining until January,

School Bus calls me daily cuz I did apply but I'm rethinking dealing with them kids for that type of money.

Alot of tourism stuff here obviously so I am thinking about spending 1100 and going to Sheridan for the class B then applying to them, or just wait on the city to hire me and they'll give it to me for free.

I'm all over the place but still grinding to my best.

WGU ain't worth it imao.

Keep grinding man, as said you may need a gig for medical and dental and some side hustles to keep some spending money in your pocket.

Keep your head up, too. There are still some adults in here you can toss some ideas at or ask questions of that won’t try to crack jokes.

Congrats on the bud driving gig. Might be time intensive but it’s an honorable gig.

I'm a realist, I try hard but I got wise later in life, messed around for years it's the price of that.

All good, I'm alive, not sick, I'm thankful.
