The problem with a lot of people who attend college is that they makes this their entire personality. Going as far as having a victims mindset for imaginary bullying that allegedly occurred in grade school. Not saying this doesn't occur at all, but the majority were never these outcast simply because they were intelligent. Kids in general are pieces of shit. Guess what, dumb gets got bullied too. The only gets who were really a protected class were special needs kids.
The weirdest behavior from some Black graduates is they tend to start having this elitist mindset. Some, to the point of looking down others in their community. It's nothing wrong with being proud of your achievements, but some (I've mainly observed this from women) do the most. Crying about the hard work they've put in while someone who choose an alternative path makes more money or are even in the same role as them.
Let me start by saying we are all human and have triggers. However, Marc has made it known he gets off on being a dick. He's said the pod allows him to be more himself and he allegedly doesn't talk much outside of his profession. He was talking shit and Flip said something very minor that seemingly set him off (Im still not sure it was fully real or not). Flip seemed to be mostly in control while Marc the educated man escalated to the point of wanting to fight and being physically restrained. Marc is human and had a bad day. We can't just assume because someone is intelligent they are faultless. We can't assume because someone doesn't show signs of what most define as traditional intelligence are the problem. Flip does alot, but this particular day he wasn't the main issue.
If you've never been in a doctorate or master's program then you wont know that shit really is elite. I'm not talking about bullshit Divinity School or any no bullshit like that I mean actual fields of scientific study at a school with respected credentials and not a diploma mill like a Libery University for example. A place where real ethics are respected and abided.

Don't get me wrong. Im in no way am I trying to diminish anyone's achievements. If nothing else, i can imagine what you are speaking to just from fictional schools with the poor student prodigy vs legacy family student trope.
I just feel like Black people shouldn't mirror White behavior and there is no need to be a dick just because you feel your are more intelligent than others.
Off topic and unfortunately im somewhat guilty of this too. Black people will point their noises in the air and move out of Black neighborhoods proclaiming to be better than the neighborhoods they were raised in. High level, I get it. However, there is no need to look down on the people who weren't fortunate enough to leave. Worse, these people then complain about gentrification as if you didn't abandoned your neighborhood. I know it's more to it, but you can't complain when the White people see the value in your old neighborhood that you didn’t.
Absolutely agree on the classism skism. I've tip-toed both sides of the line short of incarceration due to the strange and strained relatoinship of Black peoples and our captors. The thing about the neighborhoods I can show causal fact to absolutely hold them accountable though. Respect.

So you watched the entire event and came to that conclusion???? Marc had a N word moment ( see Boondocks if you don't understand). In fact, that man was possessed by the sprite of Stinkmeaner.
High level recap and I may be off about the order a little.....
1. Joe is telling a story that basically makes it look like Marc is backdooring the cast for more pay. ( Joe should have never mentioned the talk at all)
2. Marc says what Joe said isn't exactly
what happened.
3. The cohost initially laugh about it. But you can tell they feel a way especially Flip.
4. Jawon ask some kind of question around who would you let go or pay less if you were Joe.( in my opinion instigating) I don't think Marc answers.
5. Mona starts talking about the role people play.
6. Flip interrupts Mona. Marc says let Mona talk and jokes about Flip not being a team player ( or something and he should not have done that).
7. Flip apologizes to Mona. Mona says more or less "we all have roles. Marc you the Smart guy" as she's talking Marc says" and you're the funny one. Flip......" ( we all know he was saying Flip A doesn't do shit or B has no role)( again Marc should not have done that)
8. Flip starts calling Marc out and says " thats sucka shit" Marc basically says he feels disrespected and not to say thst to him. Flip say " im not calling you a sucka. Im saying that's sucka shit. They got back and fourth the tricky words thing happens between the two.
9. E starts to move towards Marc as he is saying to Flip we can take it outside or pod. E gets to Marc and Marc says "im not podding" ( basically im serious). Flip stands up and Marc says "what are you standing up for"
10. Joe tells both to calm down and says they can fight in the hood more or less. I can't remember seeing but at this point it is stated E was physically holding Marc back. Overall, Flip is chill. He may have been with fighting but he is clearly reacting to Marc's energy. Marc is the aggressor and Flip is in defense mode. ( Marc being the aggressor is confirmed on a later pod so not my opinion)
Keep in mind. Marc has been taking shots at the cast for weeks. Particularly, E and Flip. After the pod where E throws a bottle at him, Marc seems to relax with E. There have been jokes based around work performance, so if you hear a story about someone trying to get paid more at your expense you're going to feel a way. Most people would react like Flip given the history. Which wasn't that bad under the circumstances.
After Joe told the story and he gave his version of the event, Marc should not have made any jokes trying to make people look bad true or not. He should have read the room. Furthermore, Joe should have never put this out. Right or wrong it makes Marc look bad and hurts his value outside of the pod. ( i have thoughts on this between Marc and Joe)
Your thoughts on Ice and Ish. Its not there business and they may have been just as clueless if it was real or not. Also, Marc and Flip fuck with people so it could have been a two birds with one stone deal.or, they didn't think they'd really fight. A lot of barking no action.
People are being bias because they don't like Flip. Regardless of your opinion of him or your love for Marc, Flip wasn't wrong. He does alot. This isn't one of those times.
Respect to Emmany for trying to break it up. And the new girl fir trying to calm it down.
