I saw superman on the net then went to the theater a week later i might do the same for FF to see galactus during that space scene. He looked menacing On my phone. Hes gonna look astounding on the big screen. Damn the pandemic messed up the theater industry. The local hood adjacent theatre shut down back in2022. So now i go tp the upscale theatre. The theater im going too now when gunns suicide squad was out they were renovating. Now its a luxury theatre with recliner seats and dx rumble seats and a bar in the lobby. It cost me $16.45 when i saw superman but that's because of Trump's inflation I paid $12 when i saw the batman.

Some Movies you HAVE to see on big IMAX screen. I couldn't imagine watching a movie like interstellar on a bootleg copy. Even Revenge of the Sith..movies like that were made for IMAX.

Johnny is supposed to be a young upstart not a weathered grown ass man. He just looked really old. The storyline is teenage love -ish, but Jonny looks like he has already been through some aged tough times in the face. The other three character's look the right age in my opinion.

Man that's crazy accurate. It's literally the same scene as Ghostbusters. I didn't even think of that.
lol I’m an 80s baby and love 80s and 90s movies and as soon as I seen galactus on earth I was like they got this nig moving and acting like stay puft

Naw man I mean I get the minor complaints of how they handled him but they had him look menacing. He just came in on that arrogant shit to get Franklin. Only thing is I’m not entirely sure what Sue’s power is to make him freeze up like that.
Galactus outta space was bad ass, loved his presence, definitely had that god like evil authority figure… but once he touch down he became stay puff marshmallow man.. outside of him being able to see through shit, he had no powers and he supposed to be god like

Interstellar? You mean book shelf? I hated that movie after the nig jumped out the spaceship and he was talking from outta space to his daughter through a bookshelf… movie was good up to that point and than I was like wtf is this shit

You right but at the same time…..does like powers work in MCU?

It's better than Thunderbolts, it's better than Superman. The visuals are a 10/10. The silver surfer actually riding the waves was 10/10, although the backstory is a been there done that.

The aspect ratio of Galactus didn't seem "big" enough, but it's looked great. The power push back scene was ridiculous. Marvel has to stop with women knocking down larger characters, the shit is just silly.

The bread scene was hilarious.

The writing and scene movement is very slow and methodical. The car seat shit is :lol2:.

It's enjoyable, but it's just a step above some of the middle tiered Marvel movies.

Johnny looks 45, not 25, they should have cast someone younger. Love conquers all, crowd speech to rile up the people, same old shit.

I am soo torn on the mid credit scene, since I loved Infinity War/Endgame :crymeariver:

All in all it's fun 6/10.

Didn't think it was better than Thunderbolts or Superman :dunno:

Spoiler below

I know he can fly.. so that whole walking to the kid was useless.. he could've easily grab the kid and get the fuck out of dodge.. but they went stay puft having him do this slow useless walk.. movie ends with that simple power of flight.. but they dumbed him down significantly to just seeing shit from afar and being big

It's not a stretch though. She's by far the most powerful member of their team as well as in Marvel in general. The previous movie iterations nerfed her with the bloody nose bullshit

I really dont get the hype for thunderbolts
Me either..just basically Marvel's version of Suicide Squad

What that mouth do Florence :giggle:

Just came back from seeing it, 8.5 out of 10 for me. Would've loved more action but the comedy kept the movie going for me. I've come to the terms a while back to not expect these movies to portray characters abilities to the extent of their true characters. But as a movie it was solid.

If I had to nitpick... 1. Galactus could/should never be defeated that easily. He has cosmic awareness, so he would have known what happened was about to happen, he can teleport so it should have/would have been nothing to teleport him and the child out of harms way. He also can teleport through different dimensions so sending him to one wouldn't make a difference, he'd be right back where he wanted to be. He can manipulate matter and control the souls of others, he also could generate powerful force fields so he could have placed a barrier to where he couldn't be pushed. They completely gimped him for this movie and it's sad to see.

2. Why is it that when there's a threat to earth as a whole, none of the other heroes rally together. Yes it's a fantastic 4 movie, but Galactus is not a villain that the fantastic 4 could/should be able to handle with the situation given in the film. Once earth is a threat, there should be all of the protectors of earth stepping up, it should be another avengers endgame scenario. It's like all the other heroes didn't give a shit that the earth was on the brink of destruction, leave it to the fantastic 4.
