New Movie Trailer: Naked Gun Reboot With Liam Neeson Lands 2025 Release From Paramount UPDATE: Pamela Anderson!

None honestly.

Even Kevin Hart's latest movies have seemed to be action movies with a comedic element instead of just a straight comedy.

But even THOSE? are they big releases?

It might be a lane that needs to taken by black creators.

I could see a Scary Movie reboot with the Wayans working.

I don't know if this new generation appreciates the teen sex comedies like the old days.

I could also see a straight comedy super hero movie.

Big in terms of expectation but not performance.

For example he starred in Borderlands which was a video game adaptation and eas expected to do big numbers which didn't happen.

It's funny you that you mentioned Scary Movie since they're rebooting it and are projecting a release date for July 2026.

I mentioned it because I THOUGHT it was but wasn't sure. Thank you for confirming.

I misspoke. I meant has he been in a BIG COMEDY release in theatres?

I can't remember a big comedy release with him since the Rock? Since then he has been trying for dramatic roles and action roles like that Netflix one he did.

I don't even know WHO in Hollywood right now is THAT funny LEAD movie star actor?

I would argue its probably a WOMAN.

The last one was Joyride? Critics loved that and it was legit funny and completely unexpected.

Should get a sequel.

They need to do another Bridesmaids.

Borderlands was released in theatres and is an action comedy so I think that would qualify.

It also bombed in theatres unfortunately.

Yeah I remember. I PERSONALLY don't consider that a straight comedy?

Especially since the dozens of people who actually paid to see it ?

Didn't laugh once.

But okay.

So did you forget what Liam said about black people? Didn’t talk about shooting them or something… it’s fuck the remake and fuck him to.. no nordberg no views

Yooooo... you know what? I did sorta forget.

I think him going on Atlanta kinda sorted all that out.

should it have?

Fuck that racist, fuck that unfunny trailer, fuck this remake… long live nordberg

Sounds about right for a comedy.

The new kids movie Gaby Dollhouse is also an 1 hour 25 minutes.

I dont make a big about runtime usually because its a case by case. But with everything getting so expensive? I wonder if the audience is going to react negatively. Especially with the 30 of trailers and ads.

I'm gonna be watching to see if its a trend.
