Car Models Dealers Can’t Sell | It’s Getting Worse Right Now

I hope they lose out...fuckers got bailed out and have the nerve to price gouge

Bruh during 2020-21 when there was the shortage, all of them became sheisty af.

Ford CEO had to send out as bulletin to them to stop fu@#in over their customers.

Listing vehicles that were already sold….advertising lower price…..just to get you in the showroom.

Raising prices absurdly.

Zhee Roe Fuques….Underdog, put that on a T-shirt

Carry on……

Honestly nowadays cars cost too much.

Calling bullshit on this list because the Lexus LS 500 should be on it. First quarter of this year, they sold less than 480 vehicles.

NEARLY 20% OF CAR BUYERS ELECTED FOR $1,000+ MONTHLY PAYMENTS IN Q2, REACHING RECORD HIGH

1 in 5 new car buyers take on $1,000 monthly payments

If a person needs a car note then they aren't ready to buy a car nor can they afford it..

these dealerships be trying to sell a basic car for 40k and a fully loaded for 50-60k.... these are fords, chevy's and the stellantis brands...shit makes no sense. nothing but corporate greed.
Strangely was thinking about a For Explorer. A fully loaded Explorer shouldn’t cost 60k.

A Mustang GT shouldn’t cost 60k, a Toyota Rav 4 should cost 40k no matter what it has in it.

I was at the gym and a guy struck up a conversation with me about cars. He said that he had a new convertible Mustang and that he paid 67k for it.

A convertible Mustang GT ain’t worth 70k.

I’m sorry but dem shits ain’t worth it

Agreed.

I drove my pops to pick up his new Toyota Tacoma in 2020. Summertime or so.

He's not one for small talk, and can't stand car dealers. I knew it would be a tense environment.

He had his certified bank check with him to pay that shit in full. Just before we departed the guy was trying to sugarcoat something.

Pops replied with some ICE COLD bgol streets type of response ... basically like "I am not your friend ... you're a glorified snake oil salesman ..."

Man, I was embarassed. I knew that was how he was gonna reply, lol.

:roflmao3: :frozen:

Back in the late-90s my mom traded in the Dodge minivan, and upgraded to a slightly used (less than 1 year) Ford Explorer.

Shit was really nice. Got to drive it a fair bit, and upgraded the sound system and installed the 6-disc CD changer with some of my part-time summer job money, etc.

I think she paid 20-something for it.

Shopping with pops as a kid in the 80s was a trip.

He preferred paying for shit in cash, so he'd always say to sales people "I've got the money on me ... I'm good for it. Just get me a CASH DISCOUNT or some shit!"

Was with him when he bought a few TVs, home stereo, washer and dryer, a fridge, his first VCR, etc.

One of his best hook-ups was a guy at the electronics place. He'd always get him the staff discount. That guy knew the hustle. It was a little tougher with the jokers at Sears or The Bay and the home appliances. They drove a hard bargain when dealing with Funk Sr.

Sounds like a good deal! I know inflation’s crazy, but 60k for an Explorer is ridiculous.

Agreed. I thought it was a fair deal too. Luckily the dealer didn't seem slimy, and she drove the car for a good long while without any major issues, and my brother got some years out of it at the end before running it into the ground.

You know the market's a mess when you hear those stories from recent years about how much resale value used vehicles have. Dealerships looking to buy back cars & mark 'em back up. Sales to offset the new product sitting on the lot.

beyond ridiculous

$1000 monthly payments? Fuck that shit. I buy a used car and demand my monthly payment be under >$150! Fuck a new vehicle! I also live in a state that taxes vehicles. The newer the car, the higher the taxes. Fuck that shit! I buy older, mechanically sound vehicles. My wife drives a 2008 Hyundai Vera Cruz. We've done road trips from VA to NY well over 25 times in the last 2 years alone! I upgraded the brakes, A/C, Coolant system and tires. Engine is solid. Regular oil changes and new wipers. Under 200,000 miles.

The VA tax rate for most vehicles is $4.57 per $100 of assessed value.

Bottom line, I'm never buying a brand new vehicle even if I hit the lottery!
