Than to top it off I’ve posted various black Philly restaurants and a food review channel mostly dedicated to Philly spots that promote lots of black owned Philly biz.. I have an nyc food thread which mostly has lots of black owned food spots that also prove that theory wrong
I can show you tons of white clubs below 86 st that are wayyyy more expensive than any spot uptown .. white establishments have forever to be known more expensive than black spots where I’m from.. let’s not get into cover charge and let’s not get the stripclub game involved

High end CACs clubs yes; but the average CAC bar and club; man you aint gotta pay to park or get in; and the drinks be better and cheaper...
In East Atlanta Village, or downtown Decatur or other spots; mixed or white bar/clubs just be cheaper; i hate thats a reality but it is here...

I gotta respectfully disagree with you when you say that a prefaced "Black Owned Business" make it's hard for people to go there.
There's a black owned Chinese spot in philly called BLACK DRAGON, the line is long snaked around the corner even with it being called 'BLACK' this proves that because a business is label black owned doesn't mean their business can't thrive because it can. It's all about how they market their business and how it's ran is when a business will succeed or not.
Even if the person don't label their business as black owned, when you walk into any establishment with a black staff, owner, etc, you will know it's black owned regardless.
Also, my cousin has a Black Owned restaurant in North Carolina, you will see the owner and her cooks and servers are all black. While they don't have the label as "Black Owned" people know their business is black owned because of who's running things and the employees they have there.

Philly got these clubs that are gentrified with CACs going there. There's no clubs for black folks like it was back then because they all got shutdown from all the shootings and fighting that would happen.

A lot of black bars and clubs here; and all of them are overpriced unless you in the hood hood!! and Ive been stop going to hood shit!! so yea Ill drink but not as much as I use to; even still prefer the mix spots and sometimes white dive bars; even their you still will get some shortys to holla at and much cheaper prices lol...
