One of the producers/directors did Sicario so I am not surprised with how good this show is....

First time watching it after discovering this show, I was hooked.
I got a number of series that have gotten cancelled or coming to a end here soon.
When done with those, I will try to check it out.

Agreed. Glad that Renner was able to make a recovery from that accident. That recovery / rehab process was in-depth. I remember seeing the headline when it happened and thinking - "WTF ... he could have easily died."

In season 1, Iris reminds me of Abbey Rain with the way she wears her hair, a bit younger and skinnier, not a deadringer but there's a resemblance.

I'm up to the season finale of season 2. Been listening to the only podcast on it and reading the reddit discussion of some episodes as I go along.
I agree with the consensus that this season is a lot worse than season 1. Very short episodes, not much happening (especially with Iris), kind of slow and tedious.
And I know the creator steps away because of the success of Yellowstone-- completely or mostly, I don't know. I'm gonna keep going through season 3 but I'm not feeling optimistic.

That's probably one of my top 20 porn stars right there and Iris was naked in like 5 episodes in a row so I could not help but think of her.
I thought the finale was the best episode of the season.
What I question is the basic premise of the season, that restoring order inside the prison was necessary to restore order outside of it.
I got a bunch on ongoing series wrapping up and ending this year.
Paramount+ seems to be running their series for about 5 series and ending them while they are still high in viewership. So this series most likely will continue that trend with one more season.
I’m trying to cut back getting sucked into new series. So I will try to start this series later this year, hopefully.
