Mayor Of Kingstown! Who Watched it?

Great finale to the third season, best finale yet and a great rebound from the slow, subpar second season.

I was thinking it would be a good series finale until the final twists.

Macho wannabe ass Kyle finally got to protect somebody. I haven’t liked the character but he did the right thing and I’m sorry for him.

A little disappointed at the Iris ending. All that for that??? I assume she did it on purpose? I wonder what the point was.

I’m definitely coming back for season 4.

it's just ok, but I've watched all of it.

glad some of the story lines finally

got wrapped up! The 'blacks' on top for now.

5/10. Nothing special.

7.5 from me, maybe 8.

Looks like she OD'ed!

I mean, how long could they keep her on the show doing the same shit?!

I think her character had run it's course.

Time for her to start an Onlyfans so I can see her butthole right quick.

I wonder if she did it by accident.

Sad shit, I’d have liked for her to ride into the sunset.

Season One
10 Episodes

8/10

This series’s debuted back in late 2021. I could not get into it cuz at the time I was overloaded on TV series and just did not have the time.

I have had a number of series come to their finales over the last year and I have done my best not to get sucked into getting into too many new series. Being this is a Taylor Sheridan series, no way could I avoid it. I’m a big fan of his series that he has on Paramount+.

Being I’m most likely the last person to watch this, no need to go in-depth. I started season one on the road this weekend and finished it last night on the road.

The series opens up in the first few episodes with a big unexpected death count of a number of characters that I assumed would be regulars. Taylor has a thing of doing that with his series.

With all of Taylor’s series, he does a good job giving history lessons on America and the dirt it has done throughout its history, without being preachy about. He also does it in a way to not make his White audience uncomfortable.

That sister “Rebecca” who works with Mike, GOTS DAYUM!!! I would be dumping major amounts of baby batter into her without hesitation. Ol girl ain’t no joke and keeps your eyes glued to the screen.

That White chick “Iris”, they ran her skinny Ass thru the dirt in this season. Her story gave insight into Sex trafficking with White Women.

The rookie CO Sam, definitely qualifies for “Idiot of the Year”. His story shows that being a CO is definitely not for weak minded mofos.

Graphic violence is very high thru-out the season. The show doesn’t hold back and there is a good amount of suspense leading into the violent scenes. I was definitely caught off guard with the prison execution of the Latino prisoner playing out like that. I don’t recall ever seeing a prison execution scene play out like that in film/TV. It was done very well and will have you thinking twice about the death penalty.

The season gave good insight on prison politics between staff and prisoners showing the whole system is corrupt. The last two episodes were done well with the prison riot and closing out the seasons main plot lines.

I will hopefully get to season 2 this summer or fall and watch season 3 as season 4 debuts and plays out.

Looking forward to the next 2 seasons.:16:

Jeremy Renner as Mike McLusky, who acts as a power broker in the fictional town of Kingstown, Michigan, where the prison system is the dominant industry. Enjoy your reviews, I’ll look for the others as we wait for season 4.

Season 2
10 Episodes

7/10

I start this season earlier this week while on the road on Paramount+. I finished it last night on the road.

The season started off shortly after the riots. All the surviving characters from the riot are suffering from some sort of PTSD.

That cat Joseph, how many times is he gonna let Mike get the best of him and whoop his Ass. HaHa!!!

Iris is still getting treated like dirt. The Private Prison Industrial Complex is introduced this season.

Bunny got the “Goodfellas” treatment while in prison.

While watching this season, I noticed the episodes were shorter than season one. This season they averaged around 30/40 minutes each.

Overall, it was an interesting season. Not as much suspense as the first. Majority of the major plots were closed out, setting it up to start fresh in season 3. Season 4 is scheduled to debut this coming October 2025. While the episodes are coming out, I will binge season 3 and go into season 4 after all the episodes have debuted. My TV ADHD can’t handle watching episodes week by week. HaHa!!!

Looking forward to season 3.
