Sonl theyre give shang chi super powers because the kung wasnt enough right? Shang chi One would've been a little better if they didn't kill off cool characters like death dealer.
So many people love this movie and respectfully I just don't think it was that good

And I think the lead did a great job
But honestly I can't stand Akwafina. She took me completely out of the movie. Her voice and acting didn't work for me.
However I liked their chemistry and unique brother sister vibe.
Loved all the Asian cinematic touches from the old Shaw brothers to Crouching tiger and the wushu loved it. Good acting overall. Looked good.
But I fell asleep.
That bus scene was incredible
(Sidebar: wtf do superhero movies have against public transportation buses specifically? I digress)

That's why I'm always the outsider on here about these types of movies. These so called fans subjective as f**k. I don't see the consistency at all. They hate the fan service when I don't know it's not something THEY would have done? But some member berries are okay if what? You like them?
I don't see how Shang Chi Captain Marvel and Antman Wasp Blue Beetle are THAT much a difference in quality to explain their respective box office.

The whole Mandarin angle of the MCU is completely fucked up. Rather than making him Ironman's primary nemesis and a threat to the entire world, they turned him into:
- A phony actor.
- A vengeful nerd.
- A lovesick widower.
And now his (Marysue/girl boss) daughter is in charge of his criminal empire with zero training & no real credibility.
Disney ain't trying to get The Mandarin right...
