Police standoff in Charlotte, North Carolina. North east Charlotte

Wrong, felons in all states cannot purchase a gun or ammunition in the US and it's been this way for years. If they acquire one illegally and get caught, they're looking at 4-10 years off that alone.
That wasn’t my point. My point is guns are available for anybody to pick up because of the laws. For example he could go to a gun show and buy a gun out most of them checking him.

Once again wrong. A felon can not go to any gun show and purchase a firearm from any vendor. The vendors run background checks just like they would in a store. You're thinking about straw purchases which can be done anywhere cuz no FFL is involved. It happens at locations like gun shows cuz ppl go there looking to sell their stuff try to get as much money as possible and don't care who the buyers are.

Nah, major screw up.

I can understand if it's a traffic stop, and you don't know
Who or What is in the car

But with that many police serving a warrant on a house??
You have to always be prepared
On TV Shows/Movies whatever, they go over the plans before approaching the house
US Marshalls should know better than this...

TOMMY LEE JONES YOU DONE F^CKED UP!! :smh:

It was said the felon was known to have a firearm so they should've had plans in place for multiple scenarios including rifles or Glocks with switches

come to Texas and u will see differently.
Home of the gunshow loophole.

a felon, as well as a 16 year old child can go to a gunshow in Texas and purchase a gun if they got cash in hand.
No paperwork, no background check, and no ID needed.

If i wanted to sell my gun or if anyone wanted to sell their guns.....they just show up at the gunshow with it and sell it to anyone willing to buy it.

They had to have known how dangerous dude was. Why didn't they go in late at night after he fell asleep?
I think that motherfucker had lookouts. What they should have did is went in heavy-handed. I don’t know the dues race but the way they serve this warrant tells me that this maybe a white guy because if it was a black guy with a gun history they would have blew up the house.

Show me where the felon bought the firearm directly from the vendor. Better yet look up what a straw purchase is again. You made my point and didn't even realize it
I can’t believe I’m having this argument with you. You know damn well some gun shows get down, especially in America.

You posted a video of a straw purchase captured on camera proving my point that felons do not get guns directly from vendors and now you wanna be upset. Admit you're wrong for once in your BGOL life and move on.

Usually they hit people crib at around 6am when people tend to still be in bed asleep or just waking up tired.. catch them off guard easier that way.. I’ve seen some raids or plots to raid certain situations and it was usually in the morning.. if it’s vice or something similar to money crimes that can be any type of time, in fact usually when the culprits are in action

I might have to most of the gun shows out West require state id. So the private sales be poppin at Texas gun shows huh....

yep......thats how the felons and crazies can get their hands on a gun with no problem.
just go to the gunshow and find someone that is selling their personal weapon.
the line for people checking a weapon for sale be damn near as long as the normal line to get in.

Hughes was not the only shooter, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings said in a news conference.

“When they approached Hughes,” officers “were met by gunfire and returned the gunfire, striking” Hughes, who was found deceased in a yard, Jennings said. Officers then received “additional gunfire from inside of the residence,” he said.

It was not immediately clear whose bullets struck which officers. Police have not identified the other shooter, although two other people are in custody. Police confirmed they believe two people opened fire; Hughes opened fire first, Jennings said.
