I said this in another thread about her. How the fuck did she get this GOAT status from so many people?!
I think most of her support is from CAC's that think it's still hip to say they are rockin' with Lauryn Hill. Kinda like they do with Tribe Called Quest and Wu-Tang.
I always wondered how to bruh! I never understood this bish on why she is where she is, but always heard how ungrateful she was...but I can't and would never buy their tickets!
The sad part,is that her peers is afraid to say anything about it. They just blindly cosign that shit like they're afraid of telling the truth.
I've said many times I'll put MC Lyte,Queen Latifah,Missy and Lil Kim over her but somehow people crown Lauryn Hill as the best female MC of all time. It's like fuck having a criteria for the women.

I don't understand,how you treat fans like that but expect them to keep coming to your concerts for doing one album.

This song could have easily been a Lauryn joint. Had she stayed on her grind, she would still be making hits.

Adele wrote that with her producer on her 1st Album, so it would never have been a Lauryn Hill hit. One can only listen to that 1st album and think what might have been. I feel bad for Lauryn at this point. It's like she died without dying. We should call her the "Late Lauryn Hill." She has produced the same volume of work as if she had died in 2001. Tupac and John Lennon have put out more new stuff, and they have been gone a long time. She has become One Album. Lauryn Hill is the Chubby Checker of her generation. She may be the greatest Chubby Checker of all time.
