Exactly. Everything is LeBron fault.a lot of the jersey shit is because Lebron has changed his damn number every other year
???Jeannie
Pau didn't even deserve his jersey retired.
The Lakers need to do like UNC, honored jerseys versus retired numbers
I wonder how many teams would have no jerseys retired or just one by that standard.
This is hating
How much has he scored the past three years in the playoffs?
If Boston doesn't want to pay him, someone else will...
Dude needs to understand that it’s the rising salary cap and tv deals coming into play. Role players are gonna get paid what the Superstars got paid 5-10 years ago so the superstars are gonna of course get crazy money. Stupid paid.
It’s 51% to 49%There are six words that shut this whole conversation down:
How much are the owners making?
I think the money should be spread more evenly among the players-- I'd rather see the minimum salary going up to 5 million in the next few years than stars making $70 million. But the players should be making a higher percentage of basketball-related revenue.
It’s 51% to 49%
And remember teams pay a crazy luxury tax
I agree that the players should be paid entirely more.
And then streaming played a big partYeah-- It used to be 57%.
I believe the tradeoff is that the definition of basketball-related revenue was expanded but I thought increasing that percentage should have been the union's focus in the last CBA negotiations.
Should the Knicks have retired Oakley and Starks's jerseys?
I always thought that the second most important era in Knicks history meant enough to not just retire the number of Patrick Ewing, the greatest player in franchise history, but also the top two other players to define the best of what the Knicks were over the last 40 years. No it doesn’t. It just adds to my post made right after this one. And no I personally don’t think that players in the NBA should be paid more than they already are. Distribute the wealth better but that’s it. NBA already full of overpaid pampered mf’s as is and the solution isn’t to give them more money regardless of what the owners are making. We all know it’s better to own a team to play on one. There are six words that shut this whole conversation down:

These dudes don’t want to or can’t play 82 games but want more money. FOH. Then they don’t give a damn about winning and playing hard in front of the fans that spend their hard earned middle class money to see them play.
Fuck James Harden!
Refs should’ve nipped this shit in the bud long time ago. Now they normalizing this bullshit
These leagues/teams have brain washed the masses to carry their load due to rings….Wow. How many games did Donald Sterling play? How hard do the owners work compared to the players? It's surprising to me that you see:
1) white billionaires who sit on their asses and collect until they die and pass the team to their kids to continue making money
vs
2) black athletes who do all the work and have a 5-10 year window to make money on average
and you think it's the first group who deserves most of the money. I just don't understand that.
