Winning doesn’t always mean championships. Winning literally means, winning games making the playoffs etc. My earliest memories of the Nuggets came after they drafted Melo. Made the playoffs every year. Western Conference Finals. Even made the playoffs and was a 3 seed in a stacked West AFTER trading Melo. There were some down years but it ain’t like the Nuggets were a lottery team every year. They have always been in contention for the playoffs pretty much every year.
So compared to Detroit where he went, yes the Nuggets are a winning organization

He hasn't won a title and his younger superior has won four. If teaming with that guy gets him his first, it will be worth it.

If it was that much of a lingering resentment, he was probably being a bitch in the locker room. Bridges is good that they don't need Simons unless they didn't have bridges on the team or if the nets were rebuilding then I could understand them making that trade for Simons. So, bridges as the nets felt is good enough for them that they look forward to keeping him for the long term since they have turned down or shutdown trades when it comes to bridges.
