{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

Herro is our best shooter and a 20 point scorer.

Jimmy missed a game in the Knicks series when he got slide tackled and his ankle and foot were fucked the rest of the playoffs
I don’t care who you throw out there it won’t equal Losing an MVP and Herro is a bum

Jimmy didn’t miss any games in the Bucks series dude averaged like 40 mins

Just saying I know you’re a Heat Fan but stop acting like they weren’t a top East team the last several years

For those of you who liked my post on the poor decision making the heat had in the closing seconds...

this was the fatal mistake right here... Jimmy drives and gets stuck but what makes it worse is that NO ONE came to help! Everyone is just standing beyond the 3point arch waiting...

FOR WHAT?? its 30 seconds left and your down by ONE...ONE!!! why are 3 out of the 5 people on that floor trying to take a three???

I hate this live by the 3 die by the 3 mentality this league has developed :smh::smh::smh::angry::angry::angry:

you see this dumbshit happen repeatedly and NO ONE has bothered to try something different...

Its NOT the first time that "Playoff" Jimmy "Fuckin'" Bulter has shown poor clock managing skills at crunch time! Last YEAR This time he did it...

BUTLER%20SHOT.gif

This play here is the textbook difference in the mindset between eras...it shows the mind frame shift in the sport. One of the commentators said "ALL OF THE GREATS WOULD HAVE TAKEN THAT SHOT!"

ALL THE GREATS??? He must mean all the greats IN THIS ERA

in the 80s, 90s and 00s EVERY GREAT (Bird, Magic, Isaiah, Kobe...MAYBE Lebron) would have drove to the basket and forced overtime... Jimmy put that shit up with 17.9 seconds on the clock...down by 2 with only one person in any position to try to stop him.

this analytically driven "launch 3s at will" mentality may be exciting to watch but its fucked up basic common sense in the game. And thats not the only time thats happened. Players have poor clock management/awareness and it seems to be rooted in the up tick of shooting 3s as a first choice.

And so far NOT ONE talking head on any of the sports shows on ESPN or podcasts has exposed this horrible trend in the league.

EVERYONE IS ONBOARD WITH THIS BULLSHIT!
:smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh:

You ride with the dude that brought you there.

You ride with the dude that brought you there.
I'm not saying its ALL Jimmys fault..I'm saying the mindset of the players and this dogmatic adherence to you GOTTA take a 3 even when theres other ways to play the game is a big problem that no one wants to address.

Ok real talk is Bradley Beal good?

Seriously.

I still don't understand how "volume shooter" is a good thing.

His record since John wall left?

besides the Lakers?

Who would he benefit?

Yes he's good but not worth the money.
He signed a 250 million dollar contract and his teams don't make the playoffs.

It's not all on him but the Wizards were fools to give him that contract.

You'll have those that say a team needs a star and a franchise player. But what good is a star and a franchise player if your team doesn't make the playoffs?

And this isn't just about Beal it's about any player.

Portland needs to move on from Dame. Scoot & Sharpe could be 1 of the best duos in the West in a couple years. Under the new CBA it's more important to have a lower cap and multiple draft picks now. There's no one that Portland is gonna trade for to pair with Dame that's put them over the hump.
I agree with this

He’s content. Just like Dame. The organizations will pay them too. Some players don’t want challenge of having to win all the time.

Ok...

But please explain the difference between a bad shooter vs volume shooter?

He can score.
Former scoring champ.
I think he could help miami by adding a dynamic scorer to the mix.
I'm sure he would be more efficient in miami.
He would be playing along side jimmy and Bam and not whatever bums they have in the district.
