Free Phone Warning

Yesterday all department heads and above at my job received a group text for a emergency meeting this morning didn't think much of till I got there and found out why we were having this meeting. It was put out by the government office in our building that any free government phones/tablets (EBT, welfare phones) pose a security risk and will not be allow in the building or on the property including the parking lot. They wouldn't go into detail about it just that it was a security risk, been seeing people everywhere since the beginning of last summer with pop-up tents giving them away. Just be warned fam.

Not the owner's info but people and devices around them, granted most phone do that now on the sneak tip but, these phones and tablets are targeted to a certain demographic for a reason people who can't afford a phone and a monthly bill, then I thought of this

These tents in my city are always set up on Family Dollar parking lots and the DSS building parking lot.

This is the same reason I don't let my son use my wifi on his free ipad he got from school.

I also mark any usb I use, and never lend them out.

My buddy filled me in on modern day hacking and the "O.MG usb"

I get scared every Tuesday when we get our security analysts brief, shit is constantly evolving and getting worse.

You'll be shocked whatever goes on in the streets people talk about or send texts over phones.....
