Eminem is a very talented rapper, him being white had little to do with his success. It’s been other white rappers that failed at being successful but Eminem style of rap made people gravitate towards him because they could relate to a lot of shit he rapped about.

Eminem came up in the battle rap circuit battling anyone who wanted it. That's why he came in the game with respect from other MC's. That was him paying his dues.
