50 Cent rushes once again to defend his white Daddy Eminem and says Melle Mel is out of touch

It’s because it’s chalked up to white boy humor and Em white, and happens to rap.

It's perfectly ok not to like Eminem or his music, but at least be factual.

He paid his dues and is respected because he came up in the battle rap circuit.

Your kidding me right.... You poster his rap Olympics shit where he placed 2nd?????

Second to some dude who was never heard of again.

I understand being a fan of this dude. I am too, but we're realllllllllly stretching it. Like far!

Which goes back to his complexion for the protection.. rich goes back to the original argument..that his skin color has a lot to do with his success , progression, and allowance of things that others with different complexion wouldn’t receive.. so why do individuals even try to argue that his whiteness didn’t play a big factor to his success

Eminem is a very talented rapper, him being white had little to do with his success. It’s been other white rappers that failed at being successful but Eminem style of rap made people gravitate towards him because they could relate to a lot of shit he rapped about.

You mean like how these guys did?

I won't say that being white doesn't have some degree in Em's success (even he says that) but I can name dozens of white MCs, some that had a legend's co-sign (Da Knuckleheadz), underground love (El-P), hood talent (Millkbone), celebs with a built-in audience (Brian Austin Grren), played a starring role in a hip-hop movie (Kamron from Young Black Teenagers, who were also co-signed be Chuck D), cats that held they own with modern day legends (Bubba Sparxxx) & even those that paved their own way in hip-hop (Insane Clown Posse). None have been half as successful as Em.

Em has paid his dues in hip-hop & should be rightfully respected.

Non of them have sold like M though, I’m just guessing though

Drake said he would’ve made Stan if em didn’t make it first… his song would’ve been a lil diff cause Stan would’ve call drake his play cousin and Stan girlfriend would’ve been invisible cause Stan was clearly gay

You are a complete loser and a lame one at that.

Who would do that?

EM ADMITS THIS HIMSELF ALL THE TIME.

To the point it's ridiculous to even bring it up.

Sidebar: his rock and roll hall of fame speech to me was dope.

You're right and nobody's arguing it, even Eminem admits it.

But it's not the sole reason, he's a talented rapper which many are trying to argue against.

I don't think you're serious so I don't have an actual reply.

There have been MANY wack white rappers before and after Marshall

Like I said earlier EVERY post Em white rapper jacked his style

PERIOD

And few black too.

Shout out Joyner Hopsin and Nicki etc.

And we have a graveyard filled with "next Eminem" clones.

It ain't just his complexion, kid been nice.

And he been loyal to hip hop

Rappers let Post Malone rape the culture make millions and then completely denounce it.

Sidebar... I never agreed that his verse was better on Renegade

I asked a few white Eminem fan once what they liked about him I was told the following bullshit i shit you not:

"He rhymes faster than twister, it's in the Guinness book"

"His style is wholly original "

"Because he rhymes about things i related to, i cant relate to any other hip hop"

There is no reply to be made that would make sense. How about this, we rate Eminem based off his personal standpoint.

Let's halve all his accolades and see where he's at

free photo hosting

Half of Em's total sakes would be 113,500,000
Which places him under Drake, Kanye, Jay and right above Wayne...

I was being nice and you should've just accepted it.

Eminem came up in the battle rap circuit battling anyone who wanted it. That's why he came in the game with respect from other MC's. That was him paying his dues.

You don't seem to understand that fact and it's ok, most everyone else does though.

Except for you.

Record sales and accolades has nothing to do with this conversation, our conversation was about him paying his dues in Hip Hop.

I agree, and I liked Jay's verse better too

Dude you posted skee lo first not me.. so you brought up skee lo first.. I said no Blackman would go multi platinum with my band , my name is.. you responded to me by posting skee lo and other black rappers that didn’t go multi platinum like em to argue.. dudes try to argue and than act like they didn’t respond by posting towards a comment

But you re-brought him up, after I said I was wrong about him & to replace him with Biz's "Just A Friend" or Afroman's "Before I Got High".

And the fact that cats went multiplat with shit like "Who Let The Dogs Out" & "Wild Thing", platinum with "Just A Friend" & "Bust A Move", and gold with "I Wish", all black men, easily shows that they do those numbers with "My Band" or "My Name Is". They are all the same type of songs. If you think differently, tell me the difference.

BTW, "My Band" went gold, so know that that's known, I'm going to keep "I Wish" in to emphasize my point.

You don't like Em, that's cool. You think he benefits from white privilege in his record sales & marketing, I'm with you on that. So is he, for that matter. But you cannot deny that man his standing in hip-hop.

Wild thing wasn’t even considered a rap record to most and actually got played on rock stations.. as far as bust a move platinum is not multi platinum.. 1 will never be 2 or 1 will never be more than 1.. there’s a reason the English dictionary describes one as singular and a reason why multiple describes as 2 or more.. don’t destroy the English dictionary trying to defend a white boy.. as far as skee lo we know half a million is 6 figs and never will be 7 figs or considered millions.. so your argument has literally failed multiple times trying to defend em.. that means on more than one occasion you were wrong

Once again, you are making my point.

If "Wild Thing" was played on rock stations & such, what's the difference between that & what happened with Em's music? Last I checked, Tone Loc was a black man from South Central LA. So that takes away a lot of "Em's marketing because he's white" argument. Thanks for the assist!

All that other stuff was already spoken on & cleared up by me in earlier posts. I don't know why you are bringing it up at all.

He definitely didn't pay his dues to hip hop. Cherry picking battles. Using white privilege to bolster his image. Nahhhhhh mann

Ignore everything else I stated, go for one point...OK.

Who did he cherry pick battles to?

Nas? That shit Nas said was so vague, when I found out about it, I thought Nas was just hyping for his record release.

Royce? That's his man, even when they beefing. That shows loyalty.

K-Rino? You probably don't even know who that is...

ESham? Think he got stomped out & made peace.

Who else?

Em stepped to Everlast, ICP, Dilated Peoples, Canibus, Ja Rule, Benzino, Jermaine Dupri, Machine Gun Kelly & a gang of pop stars that really don't need to be mentioned here.

Please let me know who I missed.

So you think a black man would’ve went multiple platinum off these corny ass songs?

Clearly his white skin and white audience is the reason why these shits were a success

Did YOU actually read what I wrote?

Because I'm fucked if I can see how you have interpreted my comments, feeling you the need to ask that question!

That's not true. Your being duplicitous.
There's plenty of opinions that point to Eminem’s sales being a dominant factor in why he's a G.O.A.T.

but since you got to do all this internet goal post moving, deflecting I'm just here to argue and not to talk mess I'll just have to take note of that.

Em rapped about a failing family life and an ongoing family squabbles after his success.

He PROVIDED a different form of content whilst maintaining a rap/hip hop style.

Plenty of non black kids came up hard and could relate to his topics.

Rock Bottom is very relatable to someone at wits end because it seems like they're always coming up on the unlucky side of the coin.

My life is full of empty promises and broken dreams
I'm hoping things will look up
But there ain't no job openings
I feel discouraged hungry and malnourished
Living in this house with no furnace, unfurnished

If this wasn't your particular situation, you may have known someone like this. I remember some kids that lived down the street, and the only time they actually ate was when the church gave out breakfast and lunch during the summer.

Another elephant in the room nobody would want to touch about ems white privilege is the fact that no other rapper has worn as many dresses than em or ever had a nig land on his face with their nuts( borat incident on mtv awards). No black man could do all these suspect things and not be called a fag.. yet em has at least 4 vids of him cross dressing and that teabag situation and nobody calls him a fag or anything. Yet let pac, biggie, jay, nas, 50, drake , etc do the samething and they would’ve been called fag from now through the end of time.. yet people in here gonna act like ‘em complexion didn’t have a factor of people not calling him a homo or that some of those corny ass songs would’ve move units like they did if he was black
There are a bunch of videos of trap rappers bouncing around shirtless with a bunch of other shirtless dudes with their pants sagging low. That's gay as hell.

Not defending Em in any way, but I’ve never heard anyone really call BIG out about that line, or some of his other questionable shit. Same goes for DMX, I love X but he was line stepping constantly.
