I'm wondering who's playing these games on the older consoles, new AAA titles look like shit and run like shit on the base PS4 and Xbox one.
I guess the overlap will continue until the average person can swing by Walmart or Target and just grab a PS5 off the shelf.
Hopefully this wont be another Gotham Knights..
Trying to platinum Vive City on PS5 currently. Controls feel loose as hell & soundtracks been butchered but it's still the superior GTA to me.
Lol, after half-assedly trying to get a PS5 digital for awhile, I finally got serious for this God of War release and snagged one off Amazon.
Now the only decision left is to figure out which system (XSX or PS5) the BGOLien crew will be running on GTA6.

I'm getting old. I keep learning shit about my PS5 the hard way. So, worried about space I bought the disc version of Modern Warfare 2. With the disc, it's an hour download. Moreover, I just found out the disc takes up the same amount of space as a digital download.
There is absolutely no point in buying disc versions of games anymore. They take up the same amount of harddrive space as digital downloads. Moreover, if the disc gets damaged you're fucked. I wish I knew that beforehand.

But the flip side is that you own the disc... Irrelevant to me because I have the digital version which works being a casual gamer.
How are you doing with hard drive space?
You can't sell the digital versions though.
lol yea own 75mb of data thats all thats on the disc...they dont put the game on disc no more so all the games we buy on disc and if the internet and games ever stop then you will never be able to play off that disc ever...no ps1-some 4 you could but not the ps5 or xbox series games.youre basically buying the licence with very little data on it..
I won the PlayStation 5 at a local MWR...... PX to buy it.. since its a hot item, and people are on the waiting list.... So I bought it... and ended up giving it to my son.... he is 17.......... he use to be an XBOX Player.. now he kicked the XBOX to the curve... and loves his NEW PLAYTATION 5...
If your Sony account gets banned for some reason you lose all your digital games
With disc you own the game
Plus you can sell a disc not a digital game
I can buy god of war ragnarak physical, beat the game and sell it
The game cost $75 I can sell it for $50 used ,I won’t do that but is an option
Lol, I've only downloaded one game so far.
The disc is just a license at this point. Apparently there is only 75MB of data on the disc that tells the PSN to let you download the game. I still buy physical because I have the ability to lend people games or trade them in when I finish them.

I never heard of this , maybe on some games like fortnight online only games ?
the full game is always on disc , you may have to download a big ass patch from psn when installing the game from the disc but that’s normal nowadays
You do need to keep the disc in when playing even though the game was installed to the drive to prove you have the game ,is that what you meant ?

Physicals media for predominantly online games makes less and less sense as time goes on, but Modern Warfare 2 may be going too far.
