Because I take responsibility for me and my people's safety?
We ain't getting ate over here, tho.
Picture this.. I got land, and its animals out on the land. Field mice, rat snakes, hawks & falcons.
I look out my window and see nature happening. When I see a snake around the house or barn I let it be cuz they eat the mice & other small pests. The hawk eat both, but mostly the snakes when I keep the pastures cut. And I don't interfere because I like seeing the hawks do their thing.
Now I could put out poison for the field mice or alter/remove their food source, which would in turn remove them as a food source for the snakes, and the hawks would have to find another place to hunt.
So we got field mice, snakes, hawks, and me, the land owner.
Just like we got innocent black folks, criminals, police, and the gov't.
See the parallel?
We blaming a snake for being a snake? It's just tryna eat, just like everybody else.
Miss me with the arbitrary white folks laws. The laws of nature dictate that humans will do what they can to survive.
Stay focused on who's in control.
A field mouse trusting a hawk over a snake makes zero sense when the hawks will eat both.
