{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

Rasheed would be the same aloof, temperamental, underachieving, fringe all-star today that he was in "his day".

Iggy and his peers love to shit on the old heads for their "back in my day" bullshit but then they partake in the same bullshit.

I don't understand the Giannis hate. Is there something that's not being reported about him because it seems like old school and current players have some of beef with him.

The only player I saw defending Giannis was Isiah Thomas,a few months ago...

Won't work when your a bitch of his level. This is unprecedented bitchassness. The likes of which we've never seen in professional sports.

Yea.. i think there may be something to that as well. For whatever reason he doesnt seem as embraced by his peers as he should. I know i had my criticisms about him and his game but he has improved over the last season and half. I wonder if its play related (his game relies heavily on referee discretion as they swallow the whistle on his travels and charges often) or something more personal (potential coon behavior).

Cuzzo..

They hating on the Harden deal

Apparently teams whispering to the league that it's illegal

Union not happy either

It's the 15 million left on the table

They says it sets a bad precedent

Other players mad too cause it makes them look bad for not taking pay cuts.

They think the Philly owner gonna do some backdoor payoff like Cuban did for Dirk

You heard anything?

He's not American so I think he probably acts weird like most foreigners. Probably nothing serious but just probably rubbing dudes the wrong way with his mannerisms. But who knows...

I'm not sure about it. all the dude does it put his head down and works. Seems to be a positive individual...I remember Tim Duncan was called "boring"(from a personality standpoint) when he played so maybe thats it :dunno:

You may be right on this..he doesn't have the "black American" experience. I think Kobe went through the same thing to a degree because he didn't really grow up over in the States..i dont know

Most definitely play related because he seems like a good dude.

He's reckless defensively and gets away on the offensive end creating the contact but getting the calls

Utah traded and got rid of Donovan's two best friends on the team(O'Neal and Paschall) and they're like we're willing to trade him

Everyone is shocked :hmm:

and Giannis is very likable

from his personality and interviews to him coming from nothing

Dude doesn't even whine all the time like most of these stars

This was the agreement he made with Morey before the trade. It's tampering. No question about it. I don't cap for my squad. What went on was illegal. Period. It can't be proven, but it was against the rules how it went down. Nevermind other teams do it too. It was tampering. Anytime a player takes a pay cut the union is gonna balk at it. But I'll give Harden credit for doing it. We couldn't have signed Tucker without him doing this

Wow.. Cleveland is crazy for shitting on Sexton like this.

He never stood a chance once those veterans leaked information to the media very early during his rookie season. The perception of him will never go away until he goes to a different team.

Wherever Sexton lands, I hope he balls out, becomes an instant allstar, and make the whole city of Cleve... the entire state of Ohio regret not giving me more respect.

That's the reason, why they're holding him hostage at the moment. They want to keep him but reduce his role at the same time. Collin wants starting shooting guard money,as he should, yet they want to pay him as a bench player.

Makes no sense

As long as Sexton is off the team this fanbase and the local media will be happy.
